Schmidt Brothers - Carbon 6, 7-Piece Kitchen Knife Set, High-Carbon Stainless Steel Cutlery with Midtown Acacia and Acrylic Magnetic Knife Block

Started out with the steak knives. Decided to replace all my knives and knew to order Schmidt Bros. Still loving them! Still looking for their sharpener.

I'm not much of a chef, but I never realized how easy cutting things could be! Have always had cheap knives before, and didn't realize how much of a chore they made it until I upgraded. And what an upgrade! You do have to be careful - I know now why they say knife safety is important - but these knives have changed the way I cook. Thank you!

GREAT knife set. Sharp, sharp, sharp!

They work great and are pretty but they’re already rusting. I’ve only had them a few weeks and have hand cleaned only. What a shame, they were so expensive.

I got the 12 piece set with 6 steak knives and 6 kitchen knives. They're gorgeous and I wish they lasted me longer. Easy to sharpen and fun to do so too. All steak knives along with the smaller knife (paring) unfortunately snapped, chipped, or flat out broke in half. CRAZY. Not sure why so brittle. Also they rust A LOT. You have to make sure they are completely dry before putting them back into the block. the block is elegant and sleek, easy to disassemble for cleaning. But just love this set so much, debating on getting the smaller set of 6 with the new, smaller block and just skipping on the brittle steak knives.

I just outfitted my new kitchen and purchased this knife set and block from another retailer but can 100% say that it is the best knife set I've ever owned. slicing is so easy. I sliced through a lime the other day and I must have made a surprised expression on my face because my friend just laughed and pointed out my amazement at cutting into a lime.They're beautiful and well balanced and look super sleek and modern. LOVE THEM.

This is the best gift! I gave it to a friend for her new apartment and she was so happy and loves it.
