I thought mine would come defected because of the one star comments but I took a chance on it and it was everything I wanted it to be! Instructions were easy enough and I loved the fact that you can record multiple times if you make a mistake. I also liked that it’s up to 40 seconds of record time which is awesome!

I purchased this card to reveal a Mother's Day gift of tickets to see the Beach Boys in concert. The recording instructions were clear and easy to follow. I recorded some of a Beach Boys song from my phone and it plays back beautifully. It's also easy to re-record if you make a mistake. Others have said their card arrives bent, but mine came undamaged. My only complaint is $14.95 + tax is a whole lot for a card that is blank. I think it would be appropriately priced around $10. Can't wait for our moms to open their cards, as I know they will love the uniqueness!

Worth every penny for how fun it was to create my own personal message with photo on front!My daughter and I sang my Mom's favorite song together as we recorded it on this card! And then called out our duel Happy Birthday greeting to her. Mom is 108 years old and doesn't really need or want gifts anymore but she still sings her song and she lit up like sunshine when she opened this.She listens over & over.You get 40 seconds to record! Priceless! I just bought another one!

I got this card for Christmas for my old work place (over a year ago) so customers could hear me wishing them a merry Christmas and happy new year and I swear they still message me saying it works lol

Did not work, maybe I got a dud? I read reviews of happy buyers but the recording was full of static and the message could not be heard. So disappointed but I gave 1 star because they refunded my money

I asked my 2-year-old what we should get mommy for her birthday, and he just started singing "Happy Birthday". It was too cute not to capture, so I ordered this card and had him sing it into the card as the gift. It was extremely easy to record and re-record, and mommy was brought to tears of joy (and fits of laughter) listening to him "sing" it (exactly the response I had hoped for).2 minor negatives (for my use):There is a very bright red light on the inside whenever you open it, which is very jarring. I ended up taping over it with some aluminum tape.The surface of the card is also glossy, which made it impossible to let my son draw on it with marker. This may not be a con for you, as I'm sure a sharpie would work just fine, but I thought it was worth mentioning since it was not obvious to me from the listing.Still, better than anything else I could find, and worked great with a few minor tweaks, so 5 stars.

I've ordered this card before and it was awesome! But even then I was a little iffy on the packaging - while it had a piece of card board in the envelope to try to protect it through the mail, it didn't seem like a enough protection. But that first card was ok and worked great. My second card clearly suffered from the "light" packaging. It did work right out of the envelope, but not great. One of the microphones did not ever turn on and the first recording skipped on and off over the first second or two of recording.. So did the second recording. And then the other microphone turned on . But then turned off. The card finally just quit when we tried to play our recording back. Nothing, zero, nada. I think this a great concept when it works, but the packaging protection needs to get kicked up a notch. Electronics are not going to last in the USPS without adequate protection.
