This stuff finally solved our insulation issue with our floor to window AC unit. No other tapes would continue to stick to the window frame for more than a few hours from the heat output. I tried 4 other tapes and was about to just caulk it when I found this. This FINALLY heat proofed the window and held against the heat output. No heat leaked inside, no cool leaked out, everything was finally calm and settled and working. It was an amazing feeling. Now... taking it off... lol. Let's just say a couple months later and the window frame is still covered in black glue that we just haven't wanted to deal with attempting to get off of it. That's the only downside to this tape. It's super thick, super sturdy, surprisingly easy to rip, and does it's job without complaint. It STICKS to anything - I'm pretty sure I lost my fingerprints taping that window up (kinda funny but also serious). So if you're here looking for a tape to stand up against the summer heat and a floor AC unit vent, you finally found it. Relax, click purchase now, and wait for salvation, lol. Just be aware it does not come off clean.

My grill cover got a hole from rubbing on the brick exterior in the wind. The new cover is somewhere in the neighborhood of $70 and I figured it would just get another hole, so I was looking for a solution to patch the hold rather than replace the cover just to replace it again. I came across this tape and thought I'd give it a try, worst case scenario, I have to replace the cover. I have to admit I was nervous given the reviews. I would comment that there are several types of Gorilla tape, not clear if some folks have had experience with some of the others and commented on this or what has happened, but for me this worked just as they claimed. When I opened the wrapper it seemed like the edges of the roll were stickier than the average duct tape so I was wary as some reviews mention this being incredibly sticky but the product description states it should not be overly sticky to the touch. Once I started to pull the tape off the roll, which is a little tough, I found the product description to be accurate. I did not have any sticky residue on my fingers. I did have trouble tearing it, so I used scissors to cut it and no residue left on the scissors. I cleaned the surfaces the the grill cover well and layed it on a flat surface so the tape would be sure to stick and apply flat. I applied a piece to both the inside and outside of the cover. Instructions say to rub vigorously once applied, which I did. I do have one edge that seems to be less sticky or not adhering as well as the rest, it happens to be the first edge that pulled off the roll. I'll have to keep an eye on that and see if it starts to pull up or if I'll need to try to pull that piece off and try again. If so I'll update on that process. Overall, it seems to be as advertised, application was super easy, and we'll see how it holds up to the summer weather. I just got it and applied it today, so I will update if it doesn't hold well.

Three months ago I used this tape to repair the molding on the front of my Chevy Volt. This black plastic molding hugs the ground to increase energy efficiency but also often brushes against the ground. About 1/3 of it has been hanging loose for a couple of years. I’ve tried screws, other tapes, and combinations but after a few months it falls again. I used a combination of screws and this tape three months ago. It went through a summer where most days are hotter than 100° and it is parked outside. I’ve bottomed the moulding out hard a few times. It still feels solid and the black color has barely faded. Updated: Three months later it’s still holding. We had more hot day and recently days below freezing. It is finally abrading at the bottom - plastic tape can’t beat the weight of a car scraping on pavement.

This tape is really good and it sticks so well cuz it’s hard to take off.

It’s good, but god does it leave an adhesive mess when you remove it. It’s not much stronger than the regular version and not exactly worth its price because of that

Had a problem with my sunroof of my car leaking so this was the perfect quick fix. All weather is an understatement! No more slushy floorboards, no more leaks and since I never use the sunroof this was perfect. I've had it on for months and still holding strong.

I have kept a new roll for backup and just unwrapped it to use and the adhesive is no good wont stick even back to back on its self how long does the tape last to be useful when you need it i have other duct tape the silver kind and it seems to last for years

自転車カバーが所々破れる様になってきたので、こちらの全天候オーケーなテープを購入。 今のところ、雪と雨でも大丈夫でした（次の日剥がれてることはない ） しっかりと補修できてるかなと。テープにしては少々高いけど、買って良かったです。

I love this Gorilla Tape because it lasts all year long, in all types of northern Canadian weather.

There are some parts of which the sticky areas where left on top of the tape but otherwise quite a good product. Have not seen a leak yet but seems to be able to hold.

Hi, I tried it on my car's sunroof since it was leaking water when it was raining or the car was in the car wash. It worked perfectly for a few days then when I washed my car again, the water starts leaking to the car.
