The Book of Questions: Love & Sex

Well worded questions provide invaluable insights
I first purchased this book in during undergrad. Over the years and through experiences, my responses have changed. I sent this to my Signo (significant other) and the subtitle caught his eye first. For a couple trying to figure it all out across miles, these questions have prompted valuable conversations and offered invaluable insights which may not have happened for years to come. Or perhaps not at all. Thank you, Dr. Stock! I'll send you a wedding invitation.P.S. Get the Business, ethics and politics version too. It is great as a team building exercise at work. Oh, the insights.

Good Book Find!
Great book, especially for a group discussion which I why I purchased it, lol. It was recommended by a friend as a group of us (ladies) we're talking about it.

Excellent for opening up communication
This book presents questions that require some deep thinking, sometimes soul searching, and initiates some very interesting conversations. I really like it. My boyfriend and I ask a question every night before we go to sleep and it has really helped us get to know each other better and to be more open about certain things that we maybe wouldn't have talked about before. I suggest this book to anyone in a relationship, even married people. Just one warning: don't ask the question if you aren't ready for the answer! Some questions are sensitive ones.

Different than what I expected
I ordered product book expecting a book with primarily comical but some serious questions related to love and sex. However, pretty much all of the questions in this book are serious (I could see some couples trying to answer some of these questions together and breaking up as a result). However, I could also see some couples trying to answer the questions and developing a nice dialogue that could benefit the relationship. It really depends on the question. Overall, I think they are all thought provoking questions. The author covers a wide spectrum, ranging from normal (e.g., Have you remained close friends with any former lovers? If not, would you have like to have done so?) to taboo (Have you ever had sexual thoughts about members of your own family? If so, how did you handle those feelings?). Overall, there are not that many taboo questions but they are there. Most of the questions are normal, but are pretty hard hitting and really make you think. I think the book is worth buying, if anything just assess yourself from a "love and sex" perspective. The questions will definitely put you into deep contemplative mode and make you think about things you may not have even considered before. I think this is a good thing that anyone can benefit from.

Great way to break the ice and find out more from friends/ companions.
Love the book of question series. Excellent ice breaker for friends, and potential companions.Gave a copy to the bartender at the local pub and she LOVED to ask her patrons, who loved to talk to her about the answers.

Very fun and works for every couple!
I love these kinds of books and I had not too many expectations, considering that I'm in a same-sex couple and I expected the questions to be written based on the heterosexual norm. Not at all! Even for its time (late 80s), the book is pretty inclusive. Except for a few obvious questions based on pregnancy, the questions can apply easily to any couple. It spurs sometimes deep and sometimes plain fun discussions with your loved one. I highly recommend it!
