This gate is awesome maybe too big for my living room but it's perfect. I feel safe when the kids are here. It is very sturdy and fits perfectly around the fireplace

We used for around our wood stove and it works great! Super easy to install, looks great, and the latch to open is super easy.

Use it to keep potty training puppy in/out of different areas. The plastic hinges are the weak point. Had one break after about a month and contacted company to buy another they sent another set for free. Great customer service! Nice product. Definitely an upgrade from the old plastic and wood kid gates.

if you like unclear directions and missing pieces. this one’s for you. like other comments here say, just use your common sense to put it together because the directions are useless. i got this for my dog & toddler, and i didn’t get bolts with mine to put the hinges together so i had to make do and use what i already had of my own. even at that, the thing isn’t completely sturdy. the bottom part is free standing and doesn’t lock into place so it moves a bit too. it will have to do for now since i’m due for my second baby any day now, but 10/10 don’t recommend. there are better options i’m sure. this only appealed to me due to the promised “frustration free assembly”… yeah, complete bs.

Gate works well, pretty sturdy for how big it is. It does lift up slightly when opening the door but still works very well.

This gate worked so well to keep my baby from climbing on the brick hearth. It stands very well, even when she shakes it, and my husband was able to put it together himself very easily.

We have a staircase which ends without a wall on one side and we couldn’t use a normal baby gate. We instead used this to cover the full area around the base of the stairs and it’s perfect. Easy to use and open. The only complaint would be that the size of the opening is a little tight - it can be hard to fit through while you’re carrying things. Otherwise perfect. Very durable.
