This stuff works great. I use it in my commercial ice machine every two or three months to keep it running smoothly. It’s really easy to use in a commercial ice machine, but I don’t think you could use it in a refrigerator type ice maker.

Solution works great..does what it’s supposed to do without contaminating machine or ice..highly recommend..

I would strongly suggest using this every 6 months in your ice maker because if you don't you will have much much more expensive repairs down the road

I had to do a little math to figure out the correct concentration for my machine. I am using it to clean a typical in home 15" standalone under counter ice maker. Used it for two passes at the lower concentration and it got the job done quite well. It is likely to last me for quite some time. I always prefer a bulk solution to products which are very expensive for their size and function which I believe the typical 16oz home ice maker cleaner solutions are. This product will pay for itself several times over by the time I use it all. Always a positive.

Bought this solution to replace the price gouging manufacturer product for my home ice machine. Diluted this product to the appropriate strength sold for home machines with excellent results and saved $$.... of course appropriate precautions for handling acid are required. You can-determine the dilution by reviewing the strength of this product compared to the aforementioned expensive product by consulting the MSDS’s for each product. Since I have a chemical engineering background and manufactured phosphoric acid it was a simple problem. Nu-Calgon could make a few more dollars if they added dilution information for household machines. Keeping the machine clean is paramount to good operation. Have used for 5 years with excellent results in a hard water environment.
