Solid In-Wall Wire That Gets the Job Done
I used this 14-gauge in-wall speaker wire in a home setup running a Harman Kardon subwoofer with five Samsung tower speakers, and it performed exactly as expected. The functionality is solid, the sound quality is clean with strong bass and clear highs, and there’s no noise or signal loss. Installation was straightforward — the wire is easy to strip, clearly marked, and the flexibility made routing it through walls much easier than I expected. For a CCA cable, it delivers very good performance for typical home theater runs. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and is a reliable choice for indoor speaker installations.I used this 14-gauge in-wall speaker wire in a home setup running a Harman Kardon subwoofer with five Samsung tower speakers, and it performed exactly as expected. This wire is great!
Aw man this wire is great! Plenty to wire up my 1980s console stereo system in the garage and the sound is amazing! The rubber insulation I'd thick and the wire quality is perfect. The colors are vibrant and durable! Awesome price, easy to unspool and didnt make a coil mess. I'd for sure buy this again.

Solid 14-Gauge Wire for Clean Home Audio Runs
I grabbed this 30-foot spool of 14-gauge CCA speaker wire that's CL2-rated for in-wall use, and it's been a game-changer for my home theater setup. The build quality feels sturdy with a flexible jacket that makes pulling it through walls a breeze, and the copper-clad aluminum conductors hold up well without any signal loss over the distance. For the price, it's incredibly cost-effective compared to pricier pure copper options, delivering high-performance audio without breaking the bank. Last weekend, I ran this wire from my receiver through the attic to new in-ceiling speakers for movie nights, and the sound came through crisp and powerful—bass punched hard during action scenes, and dialogue stayed clear. Functionality is spot-on for both home theater and car audio crossovers, with color-coded conductors preventing any polarity mix-ups. Overall, the durability and benefits make it a no-brainer for anyone wiring up surrounds or towers. This cable's versatility and value have me planning to stock up for future projects—it's reliable, easy to work with, and punches above its weight in audio quality. Highly recommend for clean, professional installs that enhance your listening experience every time.

Easy to work with. Sounds fine for the average Joe.
I got some wall speakers that needed to be installed and I was in the market for some white wires to blend in with my white walls. This speaker wire worked out great. Very easy to run and tie down with some wire clips. The wire being copper clad aluminum is good enough for my needs. If you are more serious with your sound system or if it's a high power system, I would recommend getting oxygen-free copper wires instead. But for basic everyday needs, this wire works just fine.

Perfect for in-wall audio wiring
This item came packaged on a spool and shrink wrapped. It consists of 30 foot 14 gauge copper clad aluminum wires (2 wires, black and red) wrapped in a fire-retardant (white) plastic covering that is well suited for pulling speaker wires to drive your rear speakers. Obviously it will also work with your front speakers but unless they are in-wall, regular cable without extra cover would work just as well and you can even consider using the money saved to buy 12 or 10 gauge wires. I know, the smaller the gauge, the greater the current carrying capacity. How does that make sense anywhere else? Neat in-wall/ceiling cable pulling 5 stars.

Quality wire that can be safely installed in walls
Well made insulated 14 AWG 41 strand copper clad aluminum speaker wire. 30 foot spool with sequential foot markings. Compatible with a medley of connectors such as screw types, spade tips, BE pin connectors and banana plugs. A safe way to wire in-wall your speaker system due to the PVC coded sheathing. Very safe and easy to work with. Wire can be manipulated and cut without much difficulty. Product visually looks well made and after years of using products like this one, I can say with confidence that this is a quality product. Recommended! Ideal for stereo and surround sound setups. Just remember, you get 30 feet, so before ordering, measure how much you need and buy accordingly so there aren't any surprises at the last minute. The wire sheathing that I received was in white, PVC sheathing looks to be paintable if needed. Good luck!

Good wire, just remember it’s aluminum
I’m going to give this 5 stars because it’s pretty good wire, with the right application. It is aluminum wire, so it should not be used anywhere subject to vibration (vehicles), since aluminum work hardens easily. Inside a house, though, it works great for speakers. Never, ever, use it for power applications at 120/240vac. Just remember that it isn’t as durable as copper wire and you will be happy with this purchase.

Good value speaker wire
Picked this up for a multi-zone speaker setup in my garage and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The wire feels solid, easy to strip, and flexible enough to run clean without fighting it. It’s clearly marked, which helps a lot when wiring multiple speakers, and the jacket feels durable for in-wall or longer runs. Sound comes through clean with no issues so far. For the price, this is good quality speaker wire and perfect for home audio or garage setups.

Whether you are running this CL2 speaker wire behind your walls or within your ceiling, or simply utilizing it as external speaker wire running from your amplifier to your speakers, 14 gauge is a basic audiophile minimum thickness choice for gauge thickness to ensure best performance for your loudspeakers. 16 gauge is too thin, audiophiles agree, and 12 gauge or thicker may have some appeal to audio zealots, but to me and many audio freaks like me in my camp, 14 gauge speaker wire is optimum. I like the white colour of the cladding from my uses, and I like the weight of this speaker wire. Definitely recommended

This speaker wire comes conveniently rolled on a small spool. It is 30’ as marked on the spool, the description reads 100’. Even at 30’ it’s reasonably priced at .50 cents/ft. I was relieved the description and packaging reads it is aluminum core with copper cladding, making for an honest add. I’ve never been fond of aluminum based speaker wire. I made a comparison photo of 16 gauge multi stranded HiFi audio speaker wire beside the 14 gauge 42 strand speaker wire. Although the 14 gauge is not as stiff as lamp cord, my multi strand speaker is much finer and higher count than 42 strands allowing for a higher fidelity of sound. Aluminum core with copper cladding is weaker and could present broken strands lessening the communication. It’s nice that it is in wall rated, however, I did not see the FT4 or riser written on the cable jacket. It is better than the clear jacket which is not in wall rated. In a pinch I would use this cable if solid copper multi strand was too costly. The picture below has the 14g wire in front and the 16g multi strand behind it.

I'm using this cable for a home entertainment setup which connects 5 speakers. After wiring up my system and using it for a few weeks, everything has been working reliably with no connection issues or intermittent dropouts. I'm also using ferrule crimps and solder connections using this cable. The cable solders very well and I have no issues having the conductors solder tinned. The crimp connections crimp securely onto the conductors and they haven't loosened off even after some handling of the wiring while tidying up the install. The cable has some stiffness to it quite possibly due to the PVC insulation jacket. But it is flexible enough that it can be pulled with a fish-tape through the ceiling or behind drywall. The PVC jacket is tough enough that it can take on rubbing against rough surfaces and obstacles without being damaged or worn through. The cable is able to flex easily through 90 degree bends without kinking so if you're planning to do such an install, this cable is easy to work with. The PVC jacket is easy to strip with standard wire strippers. I have over 10 years of passing cables and this cable feels about the same as any other standard cables I've dealt with before in terms of jacket toughness and overall handling. There's no noticeable sound quality loss when using my system despite this being a CCA cable, but my runs are relatively short with the longest run being 25 feet. And this cable being 14 gauge, any quality loss is not noticeable, at least from my hearing standpoint, at normal listening volumes. For someone running significantly longer speaker runs or pushing higher power levels, a pure copper (OFC) cable would still be the safer choice, but for short home-theater runs like mine this behaves exactly as expected.Overall, I think this is a good CCA cable if you don't want to spend more on a pure copper cable as long as your runs are kept short. For typical home entertainment installs where the cable is routed through walls or ceilings and kept under a few dozen feet, this cable is easy to work with, holds up well during installation, and performs as well as other standard speaker cables I've used over the years.

I have a large permanent LED installation and I plan to use this cable for powering some of my lower voltage LEDs. It is exactly as described. This low voltage electrical wire will be great for LED strip installations where you need a bit more current and thus a higher gauge wire (e.g. 5V LED strips). It's flexible, not stiff, and strips easily. It doesn't lay flat off the reel and some clips or staples are necessary to keep it in place. The jacket is easy to remove. $1.60/metre (14.99/30 feet) is a bit pricey, but if you need the fireproof cable for in-wall installation, it's reasonable to pay the premium. It would make good speaker wire if your speakers can accept such heavy-gauge wire (otherwise, since it's stranded you could cut some strands at the terminations to make it fit). Overall good wire, but do some price comparisons to see if it's the best bang for your buck
