Sound QualityThe sound quality of the headphone is good for the money, I would say for the price, I've rated it 5*. The bass is good and rich, I found them superior to in-ear headphones, which were used before these. Sound is clear, no hiss or distortion experienced.MicrophoneWhile not able to easily experience my voice at the other end of a chat, I have had no complaints about distorted sound, I can be heard well and clearly enough to chat and collaborate during gaming sessions. Having an adjustable arm for the microphone is handy to keep it out of the way while not in use.Noise cancellingWhen not active noise cancelling, they cover the ear nicely which blocks out a good deal of background noise.ComfortThe headphones adjust to a range of sizes, the padding on the over ear speakers is comfortable and can be worn for several hours while gaming, the over ear design helps to block noise helping to immerse yourself in the game.ConnectionsThere are two connections, the 3.5mm jack plug and the USB plug, the USB plug is only there to power the lights in the headphones, however the 3.5mm jack plug is essential for compatibility across my laptop and Nintendo switch. It would be nice if the sound carried over both the USB & the 3.5mm jack plug, but this is a minor point.OverallVery happy with these headphones, for the money the sound quality is very good, it is ideally setup for gaming. The built-in mic does the job well and allows me to communicate with our players well. The lights are a bonus, but don't really affect the performance of the headphones, does look good in the dark though. I would say they don't quite have the depth and range for purely listening to music, for which I have separate headphones. But for action gaming they are ideal.

This is the first time i have purchased a headset for gaming, but i am very very impressed. They are extremely comfortable, and really keep the outside sound out.The top of the headset has a large cushioned area for comfort on the top of the head, and the ear pieces have a very soft and comfortable padding that fit perfect around the ears. The microphone can be moved up and down so you can move it out the way when not needed.The cable appears to be made from a very strong cloth material and not the cheap plastic cables, which im sure will last some time. There is a inline volume control and mute flip switch on the cable which is very useful.The connection is a standard headset connection and also has a USB cable that can be used to power the headset so it lights up blue, which i don't use.Overall i am very pleased with this, so pleased infact that i brought another 2 sets for my 2 lads to use with their xbox. Very comfortable, smart design and sound quality is brilliant and great at blocking out the external noises, superb value for money.

The headset is decent for its low price. They were bought to work with a laptop and they worked out of the box. Unfortunately, the button to disable/enable the microphone does not work. Still, given the price, it is only a minor annoyance. Bullet-point summary:Pros:+ sound quality from the mic is very good - it was the primary reason to buy the headset to provide a reasonable quality of an input signal.+ headphones are quite comfortable even when sitting in them for a few hours with glasses (sometimes the headphones' tension on glasses' temples can cause headache, but so far I have not experienced any!)+ nice analogue dial for controlling the volume - I was never a fan of pressing buttons multiple times!Cons:- the tether is long for a laptop application, but it can be managed.- the button to disable/enable the microphone does not work in our case as mentioned earlier.- more control buttons would be handy (e.g. previous/next)Not sure if there is a version without LEDs, would probably go with it. Overall, it is a strong 4/5.

These headphones have excellent aesthetics, outstanding sound quality, estimable ergonomics and a good microphone. Everything was as advertised, and exceeded my expectations. The only downside would be that the materials are not the highest of quality in terms of durability, but that is not a problem if you care about your headphones.I was just using standard Apple earphones for everything, and I would say that these were a definite upgrade. My friends could immediately tell that I had a better quality microphone.The sound quality is also excellent. I listen to a lot of classical music, so it had to play many different elements, but it has certainly pulled through with its crisp sound.For anyone out there who may be wondering if you can use this on Apple products without the traditional headphone jack, you can, as long as you have the adapter that can convert from the lightning cable to the 3.5mm plug.Overall, I’d say it is worth more than what you pay for, and as long as you know how to handle things with care (though it would still be able to take a few good hits). I would recommend to anyone looking for good quality but affordable headphones for not only gaming, but even general purpose. I hope this was helpful.
