ScarSof Scar Cream - Advanced Scar Cream Made with 100% Organic Aloe Vera and All Natural Emu Oil - Helps Scar Appearance and Overall Skin Health - 4 oz

I've used Scarsof for years, especially in regards to facial acne scars. It has worked as my night time facial moisturizer. My Dermatologist had recommended it 15 years ago when I was going through Accutane treatments for severe acne. It is a wonderful product and is very moisturizing and leaves the skin feeling clean and soft. However, this is the first time I've ordered Scarsof that it came in a pump bottle. (In the past, I dipped my finger into the jar.) Upon first receipt, the pump on the bottle does not work on all; it will not dispense. When I came here on Amazon to exchange for a replacement bottle, I am unable to return the product. So I am left with a broken bottle and no way to get a correction for this broken item.

A new scar mars my finger, from using a handsaw when I was "a bit angry" (it skipped and sawed my finger instead), but it ALMOST yielded to this ScarSof Scar Removal Cream. It lightened it and kept it that way -- only on a small portion - but i consider that a success.However the scar is so deep and dark that just a small portion of it DID show results - the rest of the scar I think will stay with me for the rest of my life.I can give kudos for ScarSof Scar for doing a pretty intense job on an intense scar. Vitamin a and especially Vitamin E (a wonder-worker for many things, so I have read) - as for Emu oil I know nothing -- but ScarSof Scar formulators are impressed enough by it to include it and so I am convinced it works well too.Under $20 for this generously sized pump bottle -- and a little goes a long way. I alternately covered and/or kept the scar uncovered when I used this formula, which was tenacious and did not drip.But ScarSof Scar could only do just so much considering the damage I did to my finger. Kudos to it for what it DID help to partially erase.

I wouldn’t say it removes scars but helps soften their look

I've been using this for several weeks on a scar I have on my brow. So far, I see absolutely no difference. This cream is not strong smelling, and it takes mere moments to use it each day. So I can't complain, really. The bottle also notes that it can take YEARS for scars to diminish. Yep, years! I don't see myself going beyond this one bottle unless I start noticing a change. So if you're determined to diminish a scar, you're in it for the long haul and you'll be giving this company a lot of money before you're done. Now, this is with one particular scar. Perhaps other scars of different thicknesses and such might go faster. Therefore, I am giving this 3 stars. It is inoffensive. It may or may not work. Check back in a few years and look for an update!

It does have a very creamy feel to it and I love that. I've only been applying it on two scars from hernia surgery for a week, as the glue only just fell off of the incisions. So I'll have to finish the bottle and update the review later. But for now I actually appreciate the light fruity scent and I love the creamier, slightly oily texture of the lotion. No matter where you apply it, your skin will be softer there. I'd buy a bigger body lotion like this one. It's a nice light, easily spreadable thinner lotion.

Small pump bottle of lotion for scars - includes a floral fragrance and dyes.I suspect the target audience is not me, probably more for someone who needs a specific lotion to use in a routine or as a daily reminder to moisturize. Scars probably heal better when the skin is hydrated.The packaging is okay, too large for travel requirements. Pump is convenient, when it works.I am certain I can find other moisturizers that can help with diminishing scars over years.

Bought this for a small surgical scar on my upper lip. Within a couple of weeks, the scar is barely noticeable. I am so glad that this product works as advertised.
