Definitely a 5 star on this. I put my hubby's lunch together and heated up left over soup I made. This was at 1:00 pm he had time to eat at 8:00 pm and it still was screaming hot. If I could give more stars I would. I suggest to use a canning funnel to fill it, it fits perfectly and lots of room for the food you put in. The silver metal exterior and interior are nice. It's not heavy at all. The interior lid is plastic and easy to clean with no spillage. Everything was nice and hot and no metal taste from inside, just the soup.

Excellent Thermal retention and convenient, we love it so much my family got a second one. We have packed everything into it (Mac and Cheese, Fried Rice, Pasta, and yes soup). When we travel with our kids, we rather pack homemade healthy food when visiting zoos and other attractions, not to mention cheaper than purchasing local attraction food. Self Containing with the spoon, it does hold it all nicely. Don't let the small container fool you, it can hold enough for 2-2.5 people. (we are not "big" folks, but not thin people by any means) We usually pack it in the morning and stays piping hot. Our kids have complained it was too hot when we open them during lunch and I can say it will keep your food hot/warm for about 6-10 hours as long as you don't unseal it. We have never tested beyond that range from our usage so take that for what it is. The two we own can hold more than enough food for our family of 4 during a lunch outing. We have used this both in cold and temperate weather with very little variation on temp loss. Finally while a little bulky, they are very light weight when empty and I didn't mind throwing them into a backpack when finished. Wide mouth makes it easy to load and clean when done.

I use this in the winter while working outdoors. The thermos does well in keeping soups and other liquids hot from fill (6am) to lunch time (noon - 1pm). Oftentimes, I will have the thermos in my backpack while outside in winter temperatures (typically teens/20’s Fahrenheit). The thermos keeps my soup piping hot! I’ve tried stews and foods that are more solid vs. liquid and the thermos doesn’t seem to work nearly as well. Then again, this product has outshined other knock offs and no-name brands. Definitely a decent product that has a solid brand behind it.

Excellent thermos! I love it! It's the perfect size to keep my lunch soups fresh, hot and tasty. The thermos looks nice right off with the nice clean stainless color. Assembly is so quick and easy, and it even includes a stainless folding spoon in the lid. I'm very happy with this purchase and will probably buy another trying a different size for other foods. Couldn't be happier with this thermos. It's a wonderful lunch thermos and I can highly recommend this one!

This jar is amazing! I have used it several times this winter when you just want something warm for lunch. In fact, I put the ingredients in, topped with boiling water at 6:00a and at 12:30p, my soup was ready- still too hot to eat. It's not terribly inconvenient to preheat with hot water before putting in left overs. It's easy to clean, the opening is wide. It works for cold things too

Bought this for my teen athlete so he has a hot lunch at school - he need healthy protein based food for running track. He is loving it. Keeps his lunch piping hot. We pack it at 8am and it's still steaming hot (he says sometimes too hot) at 1230 when he eats lunch. The built in spoon is awesome as well. This is great during the winter when a stew or even just plain chicken is what he wants. We 'prime' the thermos by putting boiling water in it for about 10 mins - then dump out the hot water and promptly put the hot food inside and seal it up. Works great. Probably going to buy another.
