They are horrible, called her pediatrician and informed me about these. Within two months of her taking these daily. Her iron level are now in normal range. The taste is way better. The chocolate flavor is a game changer. My toddler willingly takes it without fights, gagging, or spitting it out, which has never been the case with other iron supplements we’ve tried. No strong medicine smell or aftertaste either.

These are good for what they are. Still taste like pennies. It will stain clothes and your child. For mine they fought me too much I couldn't get them to take it. Great product if your child is more cooperative than mine.

My 3 year old daughter takes this without too much fuss, the flavor isn't bad and it doesn't cause constipation which is common with an iron supplement. This was prescribed by my pediatrician for my daughters low ferratin levels and so far it's worked great!
