Women Drapey Knitted Chiffon Pleated Midi Skirts

After reading an article on line citing green as the 'it' color for spring coordinates, I began an Amazon search for a skirt similar to a mint green skirt featured from J Crew. Although this mint color was almost a perfect match for the high end piece, I was uncertain about the configuration of the pleats. The pictures of this skirt make it look like the pleats have some kind of tapering and are not uniform along the entire length of the pleat. I ordered this skirt, along with two other chiffon skirts in different colors of green from other vendors. This was by far the most outstanding, both for the price and the overall look. It looks like a high end separate, and is almost identical to the J Crew piece. There is no issue with the pleating and the fabric hangs evenly a little below the knee (not a midi). The way the skirts hung was an issue with both the other chiffon skirts. This fabric is not chiffon, but a very light knit. It is not sheer so it can be worn easily without worry of unwanted views through the skirt fabric. I highly recommend this skirt for its' look, style and value... a quarter of the price of the high end piece!

Loved the fabric and how it fell at waist. was more see through than I thought to go with a dark blue blouse. overall would buy again!

I was looking for an skirt that I could wear for my son's graduation, and this was the perfect one. It's so flattering! I think that the pleats pattern really benefits me (thin pleats) as I have big hips, it doesn't add more volume; this also is more like an straight line skirt, not A line. I'm 5'2", 210lbs I wear size 16 in jeans, and XL/XXL in pants depending on the brand. I bought XL and the elastic feels a hair tight, but not too bad. I'm happy I know I'll be able to dress it up or down, I'll be able to create different looks with it. Very functional. It's thin fabric, perfect for summer. I guess I could layer it up for other seasons.

It fit very well

This is a fairly nice chiffon skirt. The length on my 5'2" frame meets my leg a couple inches lower than it appears to on the model. The material is soft and lightweight, and the color matches identically what's depicted online. There are some hard creases in the fabric from shipping that are difficult to iron out, but after those are resolved, this material is not prone to wrinkling.

Skirt was exactly as described. It is comfortable and good quality. I am pregnant and this was a perfect wear to work option. The elastic band will let me grow into it and I can still use after my pregnancy.
