MXLV67N Small Diaphragm Condenser Instrument Microphone with Cardioid and Omni Capsules - Green / Gold

Grabé mi guitarra acústica de cuerdas de nylon y no me falló. Quedó como esperaba, de acuerdo a lo visto en algunos reviews. Sonido natural, que es lo que buscaba. Solo probé la cápsula cardioide, lo que me hace pensar que la cápsula omnidireccional será buena también.

I use this for YouTube videos playing guitar and singing. I have it paired with a V67G and it's a great pair.

I bought it for recording the piano. but it work well for voice chat too lol

Very good sound collection in a small and relatively inexpensive product.It comes with two interchangeable capsules for cardioid and omni-directional pickup patterns.The only thing I did not like – the capsules are not well marked, so it was difficult to tell which is which.I would recommend this product.

MXL has a bad rep for quality and I knew from friends that they had issues. The video demos of this mic sounded so good and it was on sale so I ordered it.Unfortunately the mic kept cutting out. I could actually hear it turning off the phantom power and back on every couple of minutes. Tried different capsules, different xlr cables, and even checked my other mics. This one was a dud.For what it’s worth, the brief moments I had audio working, it did sound good. I actually wanted to exchange it for the same one but found out Amazon doesn’t do that. The item has to be returned for credit or a refund, then I have to purchase another one.Unfortunately the price went back up, and for that price there are better quality choices. But since I needed it now I drove to the store and bought a different mic instead (that works).Sorry MXL, it would have been nice. I hope the brand takes their quality more seriously some day.

Amazing mic for acoustic instruments at a very reasonable price. The mic itself comes in a very nice wooden box. The shipping was spot on. I am incredibly happy with this purchase.
