I'm 5'7" and it is a bit long for me. I have the large size not the XL. Mine kinda fits, length wise, like the picture shown with the 3 colors being worn by the same guy.

Q: Will this shrink in the dryer?

I recommend letting it air dry. It will shrink after periods of time in the dryer. It doesn’t take long to dry. I hang it up in the bathroom or whatever is best for you for about an hour or so

Q: I am 6ft 185 lean muscular build. I normally like medium tanks and don’t like loose fit. Would medium work?

They are built for lean people. I'm 6'2" and weigh 275 and Power Lift. I'm thick in the mid section with big thighs and legs, I also have big traps. These shirts don't fit me well at all and cling to me like a glove (yuck). The fittings would be best for a well developed but thinner framed person.
