If you are thinking about buying this speaker, don't think, just buy it. Not only does it look cool, it sounds awesome! You will be surprised at the huge sound, deep bass, crisp highs. I hosted a small get together in my living room and pumped heavy metal through this baby for 6 hours straight without worry of it dying. My guests were surprised when they saw the speaker, they were expecting something much bigger; like a boombox from 1985! I owned a Bose Soundlink and This JBL sounds just as good, if not a little better, and more bass, and it's cheaper! I have had it at full volume and there is no crackle or distortion. If you lay it longways, like on its side, you can really hear the stereo sound despite the 2 speakers being so close together. I love this speaker and everything about it. The design is sleek enough to put anywhere, the buttons are perfectly and simply placed, it's rugged and heavy for its size and not in a bad way! There is nothing I do not like about this speaker, I've tried to think of something bad........and then I connected my phone and Blasted some music and could not think of anything!

This a great little speaker. I use it in the house and outside while gardening. It has great, smooth sound with a decent but not overwhelming bass. It hooks up so easily to your phone or whatever device you use. The controls are easy and right on top of the speaker.

So I bought this 2 1/2 years ago and battery life still top notch and only now I’m having issue with the bass rattle and sound dimming but for 2 1/2 years I will say I’ve used this damn near everyday for as long as the battery would last (usually 5-8 hours) and I mean at a solid 3/4 volume, bass hitting, straight machine put in work while I wrenched. If your looking for a solid speaker this thing is the one, JBL has me buying my next from them 💪🏼

JBL converted me from Bose. I own 2 of these JBL Flip 4s. I keep one in the shower and one next to my bed. I also bought a JBL Charge 4 that I gave to my girlfriend. I also own a JBL Extreme XL2 in my garage. I also gifted JBL Flip 4s to both my kids and my Dad. I actually like the Flip 4 more than the others in the JBL line up. It is a perfect blend of portability, sound quality, and durability. Solidly constructed. I’ve had my primary JBL Flip 4 for about 3 years.

So far, so good on this renewed Flip 4 originally purchased for my wife. I was so impressed by this little speaker that I bought a second unit for myself. Only issue I had was a defective charging cable. Not that big a deal since I have several from other devices that we can use.First unit came from the vendor, BHHT Deals. Had to wait a week or so for stock, but I'm a patient guy. Same with this second speaker. Will be in stock in a couple weeks so have to wait a little while again. This one is coming from Gryphon Commerce. Considering I saved $30.00 combined for both speakers, a little wait time isn't that big a deal for me.With the savings, I bought the extended 3 year warranties for both speakers. The first Flip 4 didn't come in original packaging, but rather a generic box. I assume the same will be the case for the other when it arrives. Aside the issue of the charging cable, which was also generic, not the bright orange shown with the unit, the speaker looks and performs as new. I'm expecting the same for the second one from Gryphon Commerce.Some buyers have reported problems with their renewed Flip's, but as for us, we've been very pleased with our purchase. Buying the extended 3 year warranty gives us added peace of mind, plus amazon is very good when it comes to customer support/satisfaction.Over all, I give JBL 5 stars on the Flip 4. Amazing sound from such a small cylinder. Looking forward to pairing our 2. They're supposed to sound even better when paired giving a true stereo sound experience.All the best,Mr. Lee

I previously used the JBL Clip as my portable Bluetooth speaker for work. This is a bit larger, but still an easily portable size and AMAZING sound quality! The difference between this speaker and others in a comparable price range and size make this a no-brained. My husband loved it so much he bought the JBL Charge 4, which is a little bigger but suits his needs as he doesn’t need the portability I need. We love that we can use them together in party mode, too. It’s definitely worth downloading the JBL app so you can shut off the startup and shutdown noises, though. Overall, a terrific purchase and everyone I know that hears it has either bought or considered buying one for themselves.
