As most new bulbs have gotten cheap in price, these seem to be pretty damned good for the cost. These used to be a hundred plus bucks each.Bright as hell and be careful, it WILL fry your plants if you keep it too close without adequate airflow, 2 feet of clearance is probably a minimum.

These seem to be a great alternative to the more expensive Plantmax or Duralux bulbs. I change out bulbs for each new garden and I see no reason to spend three times the money on a bulb that does not give a substantial boost in lumens. I was getting about 145000 with a duralux "hope I am stating that right" and my iPower bulbs are running at 142000 religeously so there is no need what-s0-ever to spend three times as much. Now, if you are not changing bulbs who knows, maybe the other "more spendy' brands will hold their lumens over a longer period of time, but after running for three-four months I saw no loss in lumens which would lead me to think that these would hold up just fine as well if used for more than one gardening season.

I have only grown indoors for 9 months. In that time I have ordered 5 of these bulbs. They work great. However, most of the time they will come damaged because they are packaged without any protective wrapping. Also, out of those 5 bulbs, I have had 3 die on me already. For the money, I'm only getting roughly 3 months per bulb. And that us with using the ipower ballast and hood setup. The output and growing results are very nice, but they aren't worth having to go through a bulb every 3 months when I believe they should last at least 3 to 4 times longer.

I've got no complaints with this bulb at all. Works great. Plants love it. Decent price. What more can you ask? I'd buy another one.

I must say that I have had no real problems with the Ipower bulbs they seem to work fine.The customer service @ E-Marketing Solutions is by far one of the best I have seen. Shipping that type of bulb is very hard because it doesn't take much of hit on the box to break a bulb. E-Marketing Solutions have been right there for me any time I have had a problem with damage shipping in fact they ship a new blub out to you within 24 hrs without any hassles.I have been buying on line for well over 10 years and I must say thier customer service is one of the best 5 stars plus.

Very inexpensive for the quality you get with this bulb. Puts out a seemingly much more balanced than the dull pure amber colors of previous HPS's and you can't complain about 140,000 lumens at 100% power. Never seen growth response to a bulb like this before and will always buy IPower from now on.
