I purchased this baby mat to create a soft place for my toddlers to kneel on in my basement's concrete floor while they were playing with the kinetic sand sandbox that Santa had brought them for Christmas. The mat is colorful and easy to put together. It serves the purpose, for the most part, of keeping my three toddlers' knees cushioned and containing most of the sand that comes out of the box and small toys that they bury in the sand within its perimeters. The only problem I am having though, is that the boundary walls keep coming apart (because they are toddlers, and frequently bang into it). I will now be placing the borders flat, and putting a sheet over the mat, so that after playtime is over I can just empty the sand that spilled over right back into the sandbox from the sheet. I think that this would be an excellent mat for a baby to roll around on, wish I had found it back when my children were babies. I do believe, however, that babies four months or older who are rolling over and rolling around, might easily know a puzzle boundary wall down. The only reason I didn't give the product five stars is because of constantly having to replace the border puzzle boundaries back into place, which is one of the reasons I purchased it, for the border to keep sand and toys in the sandbox area, but now I will just put the border puzzle pieces down to make it flat. I would recommend this product, it looks great and is a soft and sturdy mat for babies and toddlers.

I bought this mat to fit in a 60 x 60 play yard for my infant. The description says it’s 60 x 60; however, when I opened and assembled it was too small for the play yard which led me to measure the mat. Sure enough, 55” x 55” .. so, if you’re looking for a great mat and you don’t care about size this is a great one! If you need the mat to be the size described, keep looking!

This item is perfect for what I was looking for! Fits under his play yard perfectly, and I can now feel at ease that my DS won’t be hurting himself on our concrete patio. The colors are nice and the pop out animals are so cute! What made me decide to buy this particular one? Well I looked at quite a few options before deciding this was the one for us. The reason for me to pick this one really was one of convenience. This mat is made up of 4 big pieces and then of course the “fence”. This makes for easy assembling, there are not over 30 pieces to put together so that makes this easy to put down clean up and move to another location, or take it on the go with you so your baby has a safe place where ever you go. It does come in a nice plastic zip up bag so storage is nice and easy! Over all if your looking for a nice quality safety mat this one is great. Easy to put together quickly and easy to take apart. Quality and thickness is nice too!

This mat was easy to install, looks fantastic and is just what we needed. Vinyl mats no longer work in child care because they pull apart at the sewing edges or tear. We had been told to use duct tape to make repairs, but Ohio Licensing has now decided it is no longer allowed. These are the perfect solution to our problem. Keeps infants off carpet or tiled floor, can be wiped easily of spills and looks great. Allows for walking space around it while keeping area free from dirt from shoes. Sides can but put up as seen in photo, or dropped down for additional soft space.

I originally purchased this play mat for our 5 month old to lay and roll over on. I like the feature of being able to build the fence around the outer edge, however, we haven't used that feature much since our baby is not crawling yet. Our 3 year old also loves this mat for building blocks, playing with wind up toys, and everything else that requires a firm surface. This mat is pretty firm, so if you're looking for a soft foam, I would not recommend this. It works well for us because it allows our baby to practice rolling over and pushing up. It also provides a large space in the playroom where we can keep baby toys clean and off the floor. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase! I do wish it was less expensive because we would definitely purchase more to cover more space in the playroom!

So far so great! We have used this for a mat in a play pen area for our 9 month old and it has worked great. She is trying to stand and walk now so the added cushion is perfect! She is teething but we haven't run into any issues with her trying to eat the cushions as others have said. It's such big big pieces with limited gaps that it hasn't been an issue.

I actually bought this for my Guinea pigs to play in only while I sit right by them. I put a sheet in and they enjoy it. They can climb over if they want but they enjoy running through obstacles and climbing around stuffed animals in there. Wipes up easy.

This was exactly what I was searching for - it's a great size, the fence is HUGELY helpful at keeping her toys/balls from rolling under furniture, it's small enough to move around easily and take out on the porch, etc., the mat doesn't seem to show much dirt at all and is so easy to wipe off, and the extra thickness is REALLY great for babies learning to sit and crawl! I love this mat so much!!
