I bought the first one for my new canner and loved it so much because of the stainless being so easy to clean and the sturdiness. My Instapot had an aluminum one and it was getting rusty as well as falling apart so ordered another one for the Instapot (much smaller than the canner size). I never figured out what the little rubbery lacey disk is for tho. Anyone know???

High-quality built would definitely recommend others to purchase. Purchased it for my pressure cooker to get rid of the aluminum one that came with the pressure cooker that I do not want to cook with aluminum. High-quality stainless steel rack purchase from Amazon would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a pressure cooker rack for the bottom.

I read the reviews before buying. The one stars stated it has a hump in the middle, which it does. I have a Back to Basic steamer that I use to can peppers, tomatoes, etc. The rack that came with the steamer has rusted and every time I wash it, my hands get black and the water in the steamer is brown from the rust. This does not affect the canning method. So, after reading the reviews, I figure I would still give it a try. It fits perfect in the canner and my water does not turn brown and my hands don't get dirty trying to clean it. The jars do not slide around and even with the hump they sit perfectly in the canner.

Build quality is excellent. And allows more airflow and avoids soggy air fryer food.

I bought this to put in the bottom of a dutch oven for pot roasting. By their posted diameter measurement, it was going to be a close fit; however it doesn't fit because the pot is out of round and unfortunately, I took its ID measurement across only one cross-diameter point. The rack is round, but just a tad larger than advertised. So, a calculated close fit becomes a NO-GO situation. Also, it is not flat by a long shot. It has a serious crown built in to it. Not a real problem for a rack used for a pot roasting insert or an open roasting operation, but looks like it would be for a canning operation. Further it really is too short for an insert given my pot roasting technique. I will keep it for an open roasting rack as it is very sturdy and made of great heat resistant material. Just a word to the wise shopper.

I bought this to go into the pot I use for canning. I hated the basket that came with it, so I got this to replace it. It will do the job, but was surprised that it was not flat, but slightly domed. Very study feeling and wire used is pretty thick, so this should last a long time. Bonus that it is stainless steel and will be rust resistant. One star was not given because even if it was going to be used for cooling a pot or other item, it would be helpful that the surface was flat and not domed in the middle.

overall great. what I don't like is that it is not flat so it is not good for my canner which is what I needed it for. I need the jars to stay straight and not tilting to the outside.

This rack is very sturdy. It was purchased to be used in my canner, however it has a upward curve in the grating, which causes the jars not sit level. If not for the upward curve, it would have gotten 5 stars.

Good and sturdy wire mesh, I guess future use will show the actual quality of the stainless steel. Very pricey, however.

do not add large amounts of liquid, but fine for lesser amounts

Very durable! I use it in my air fryer.
