Yes, it's a Ford #4
Cup works great. Not sure why it doesn't say so in the description, but it is a Ford #4. Happy with the purchase. Great value.

Works as designed, but not useful for house paint
I had zero issues with the cup. It is not great for house paint, though. House paint is so thick, even when thinned, that it takes minutes to drain down.

Viscosity measuring cup
This measuring cup was super helpful when I painted our outdoor furniture. The furniture turned out perfect! I couldn't have done it without this cup. It helped me measure the correct amount of paint needed for the job. I highly recommend this measuring cup.

Must have for quality results. No more guesswork!
Purchased to use with a HVLP gun. It is helpful to be able to compare consistencies you spray. I am not sure how accurate it is but I dont really care. I use it to compare the things I spray through the gun. Certain guns I have spray better at certain times so that what i make the liquid i am spraying.I ended up cutting the lip of the cup off and then bending the end of the handle straight up in line with the cup in order to be able to place it inside of mason jars. The mason jars is where I do all my mixing.I believe i cut the rim off with a razor blade and then sanded it smooth.

Not a Ford #4
The cup is sufficient and nice enough for basic paint viscosity tests to get your thickness right for your HVLP gun and needle size. However, the hole is too big. The cup is 100ml but the hole is almost 5mm. A ford #4 is 4.1mm. The water test should take 10 seconds but this cup was just under 6 seconds. This means a paint viscosity that was 18 seconds with a proper ford cup would be around 9 with this cup. That accuracy is too far off even for general stuff like paint viscosity. You will have to find a better cup or be willing to modify this cup to get the correct viscosity.

Accurate
Another reviewer described the item as having an orifice greater than 4 mm and water dripping through the cup at the rate of six seconds and not the 10 seconds which is correct for this cup. BS. The orifice is the correct size opening and the flow rate for water is on the money, 10 seconds. This item is accurate and works just fine
