After assembly of the two pieces you forget that it is two pieces; comfortably wears as one harmonious unit. Even with me being somewhat short-chested compared to length of limbs, this vest allowed for all manner of workouts involving bending at the waist without bottom-of-vest interference. The large Velcro straps allow for very quick, customizable waist fitting and for ease of putting the vest on / off.This 40lbs unit came with ten 4lbs bars. each bar is encased in a black synthetic cloth material that allows for easy insertion into a vest pocket (5 front, 5 back). And although the bars are not solid (iron ore grains or sand?), they are very compact, sturdy and have no flimsiness about them.Yes, the protruding chest area necessitated elevated push-ups so as to not touch the floor. However, that one issue paled against the benefits of added weight and deeper movement. Also, have not tried running outdoors, but works well with running in place and jump roping (max tried - 20lbs).Nothing is perfect, but this product comes very close to fulfilling what I was looking for in a weighted training vest.

It's very nice just on me, who is 5"7, covers my entire body and not just the chest like the picture. also bounced a little when i ran with it. other than that this vest is very good and sturdy

We have been using this as both a vest and additional weight for other workouts almost every single day for over a month. It is very durable and easy to switch the 4lbs weights in and out. The strap on the bottom of each part of the vest can also be used for curls.

I ordered the 40 lb weight vest to make my calisthenics workout more intense. Let me start by saying that its better than buying dumbells as you can work your upper body and lower body at the same time. I am 5'8 male, the vest covers my whole chest all the way the down to about an inch under my belly button

This product is extremely nice to the feel of it when you put it on or touch it. I use this for good leg workouts and sometimes chest workouts but mostly for my legs to gain muscle. Overall give this product 5/5 for the price and comfort, and shipping.

The vest is comfortable and you can adjust the weight easy. I’ve not had it for long but it appears durable. Compared to the other more expensive vests I was looking at, I think this is the better bargain.

I ordered and was going to return it because of the small torso sizing. I wore it a couple of times and it was surprisingly comfortable, durable and now my go to vest for all of my HIIT workouts. Would buy again

Bought it for my son. He hasn’t stop working out with it. He’s a beast. Lol. He really does like it and his workouts are extreme.
