Reasonably priced grommets
Did the trick. Looks good. Advice: Top hem should be 4 inches wide when finished. use a 2 inch circle to trace holes (make a plastic template with a cross in the middle to use for alignment), measure 3 inches from edge on both ends of curtain top and mark with cross, centered, then divide the remainder of width and space remaining grommets to your liking. Mine were 6.33 inches apart. Obviously don't make the distance smaller than 6 inches. Hope this helps.

Champagne or Gold?
If you're on the fence about which to order (champagne or gold), here's the difference. The picture on Amazon makes the gold look like more of a bronze color, but it's actually a true gold. The saturation of color is about the same, but the champagne has a more cool tone quality to it. If your fabric has blue, green or even white you may want the champagne. If your fabric has warm tones (or you want a true gold color) stick with the gold. The one on right is gold, left is champagne. Hope this helps!

Worked great without the need for special tools.
These are plastic, but look like metal. They can be scratched, but each set is wrapped in plastic to prevent scratching during shipping. I ordered bronze color, and found them to be perfect. Only downfall — no instructions included. But they are pretty easy to figure out, and snapped together quite well with no tools needed. Result was excellent for the grommet style drapes I was custom making. To clarify — if you are ordering pack of 20, you will get 20 complete sets of two (one front piece and one back piece). Most 54” drapery panels require 8 grommet sets. Always use an even number of grommets, in order for panel to hang properly. If you are doing one window with two 54” panels, you will need 16 grommet sets. When ordering these, make sure you select the size based upon the interior opening. For example the 2” grommets that I ordered have an interior opening large enough to accommodate up to a 1 1/2” rod diameter.

Great product
I've installed 56 of these on outdoor curtain panels. I've only had one scratched out of the lot. It's my first time using grommets and it couldn't have gone better, A template would have been handy, but I made my own. Cut a 2" hole in a square of cardboard, mark the centers and go. The easiest way for me was to make a line along the width of the curtain to make my horizontal center, mark the vertical centers and then use the template to draw the circle. I will say that it takes a bit of pressure to snap them together but I was using outdoor material. Still, I would recommend a hard surface and apply pressure using the heels of your hands. If I make grommet curtains again, these would be my go to's.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I used these to make 3 sets of curtains for a house I was staging. The hardest part was figuring out the spacing to have them pleat perfectly at the top. Once I figured that part out, the rest was a breeze! By far the easiest way to make really beautiful and expensive looking curtains. I used an extra wide canvas painter's tarp for 2 sets (living room and dining room) and a loose weave fabric for the bedroom set. The painter's tarp was already hemmed on the sides so I just folded the top over some 4 inch drapery tape. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0116R3NNQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Poor Quality
Extremely poor quality. They look like cheap plastic. Right out of the package they are all dinged and scratched up. On one side there are Asian characters printed/stamped in the plastic. Although simple enough to figure out, there is no template and no directions provided and they come in a cheap plastic bag.

Good product, but...
Overall, good-looking product, easy to put together and uninstall, if necessary. Fast delivery.BUT, beware of batch color inconsistencies (closely check your order for quality right away). Out of the 40 units I have received, 6 pairs had some light scratches on them.I ordered 3 different kinds of “gold”-ish grommets from this seller. “Champaign” gold and the second tint, I don’t remember its name, did not go too well with the color scheme of my project, while the “gold” gold turned out to be just the right fit.The grommets come in baggies of twenty (front and back pairs). After I installed 40 pairs (half of my project) and came to my third bag, I noticed that the grommets from it did not quite match the color of the ones I had just put up. The difference (not a huge one and primarily in saturation) became obvious only when grommets were placed side by side. Unfortunately, the forth bag too contained the same oversaturated kind of “gold”.I have already ordered more “gold” grommets but I’m keeping my fingers crossed and hope that the new batch shall be the right match. If not, to save my project, I’ll have to re-combine the fronts of the right gold grommets with the backs of the wrong gold ones (the latter will not be visible when installed).
