So far so good. Couple months in.

Before I use…what happens to the grease off a rotisserie chicken? Off pork belly? Chicken wings? Do I buy a disposable tin pie plate to catch the grease? I can imagine the greasy bottom of the glass part. HELP! I love the quirky orange color! Rating on color and the toxic free design.

So far I extremely love it. I love the color and design. It works really well. It sounds loud from the video but it's really not that loud. I can't wait to use it to rotisserie some Cornish hen. I'm excited to use the self cleaning. I'm happy with this purchase.

I LOVE this air fryer! The glass bowl is a total game-changer, I love being able to watch everything cook. The food is crisped perfectly every time. The self-cleaning feature makes cleanup ridiculously easy, and as a health conscious person I really appreciate that it’s non-toxic and Teflon-free. It looks so good on my counter, cooks evenly, and has become my go to for quick healthy meals. Highly recommend!

I bought thw Fritaire air fryer for its non-toxic and self cleaning features. Unfortunately, it has a few shortcomings. If one wishes to stir food while it is cooking, the machine completely powers off when the lid is lifted. The pause function doesn't exist, so user must reset the cook time back to where it was when the lid was lifted. Very annoying. The wattage is low, requiring more time to reach desired crispness on food compared to my InstantPot air fryer. Also, while using the self cleaning function, one must be careful not to add too much water, or it will splash out through the holes in the side of the bowl onto the countertop. I opted to return this device. I am considering buying the Ninja Crispi Pro or thr Typhur Dome 2.

UPDATE - upping this product to 5 stars because of the excellent customer service we received when we explained the problem below with the cord design issue. This is a company that actually cares about its products and its customers, and that's rare in this day and age! -------------------------------------------------------------- We purchased this air fryer to ditch the non stick and other toxic materials that are in other air fryers, and loved how this one is made of glass. The bowl is also very easy to clean. HOWEVER, the design of the lid/heat vent in the back is terrible. You cannot place this with anything behind it - we've had guests accidentally melt a bottle of olive oil because it was behind the air fryer - so it's a nightmare making sure that nothing gets accidentally placed near it and gets incinerated. Also, most recently, and what made us leave this 2 star review, is the fact that now it's actually gone and melted its own power cord, rendering it unusable. This would have been a simple fix if the cord was not placed right next to the heat vent on the back. This feels like a major design flaw in what could have been a really nice product.
