The zipper is a nice touch on this brand's poncho. I'm 5'7 and the arm length is great. My 6'3 friend tried it on and the arms go to just past his elbows so his arms would get wet. Hood is a good balance between big and roomy and not too loose to let wind and rain in. I normally buy big hoods and I'm happy. The visor is functional. Haven't worn it outside yet.

Had this for over a year. Rugged, used it into the forest many times. Not quite big enough to make a tent out of, and not the heavy rubber type material the armed services use.... But light weight and strong material.

Got caught in a couple heavy rain storms while hiking, glad I had this. Threw it on and stayed dry. Had enough room to keep my backpack on and keep going. Packs down small, throw one in your backpack and get outside.
