Q: Can you have this charging the battery while the battery is also connected to a load?

Yes. I have mine charging my batteries when I don’t have enough solar during the day for my RV lights and water pump. You can’t pull more amps than your battery and charger are putting out.

Q: My Victron app only recognizes the charger in local mode but 000000 pin code will not work to connect. Any helpful ideas? Thanks.

You can reset the PIN to default by following the instructions in the app!

That depends on the actual charge rate being delivered, of course, but assuming maximum current, then (roughly, since there are multiple variables) 8A*27v=216w*1.13=244w/120vAC=~2.03A at 120vAC. It can be set to low-current mode, and the watts (as above) will be a function of V*A.
