TANITAHealthy Edge® Plus Software for Windows

I wish I could load it on more than one laptop. The laptop I loaded it on is now on the fritz. I don't know if they will let me move it to another laptop. Also I am curious about the accuracy of the readings. The manual that comes with it doesn't provide studies to explain how the accuracy of the reading is reached.

We love this software and the BC1000 plus scale that goes with it. Even though it is not the professional model. It is wireless and works great. I have been astonished at how many of my patients are dehydrated in spite of the fact that they think they drink a lot of water.It will also show how much visceral fat a patient is carrying. Which is an increased health risk. Our patients also appreciate the report that we print for them.

Horrible, terrible, awful customer service. The product didn't work as stated, the results were all over the place. I called many times and was told basically that it was user error, and that I need to precisely match my body water every time to get an accurate result. I was seeing gains of 5%-7% body fat in people that had been lifting weights for 6 weeks and LOST 12-15 pounds - you can't tell me these people gained body fat by starting a weight lifting regimen. Impossible. I saw a fluctuation of 2% body fat within 2 minutes! Impossible AND unacceptable. Amazon's awesome return policy took care of the scale but because the software was purchased through The Competitive Edge, I am out of luck. Such a HUGE waste of money for us. What on earth are we going to do with this software and no scale to use it with (not that the scale we had worked anyway). All they tell me is, sorry it's past 30 days. This company is a scam and their products are junk.

This machine is used by a colleague who absolutely loves it. I purchased it with high hopes but we could not get it to connect to our tablet, despite purchasing the additional software and ANT stick.Their customer service rep, Paul, was top notch and did everything he could do to help us.Ultimately, we returned this item but would do business with this company again in the future.
