Direct replacement
2007 XC90 (3.2 AWD) - the lower hose nipple broke off as they tend to, so bought this to replace. Identical in all respects and fit perfectly.

Fixed the problem
This is a common problem with Volvo's. My husband replaced it with this and no problems have happened since. It works great.

Pros- Perfect fit, looks exactly like OEM part at lower cost. Includes cap which also perfectly matches original.Cons- The first one I received was defective, the level float did not rise with coolant, so sensor detects low coolant level, even when full. Amazon replaced it promptly with one that works properly. All is good now, and working as intended.

It fits like original for fracture of the price. Volvo dealer wants $ 170 ! Don't buy it from them unless it's cover with the gold......

Disappointed!!!!
Volvo XC90 overheated. Time to replace head gasket, so I decided to replace all the hoses, radiator, and the coolant reservoir. Purchased this reservoir, and got XC90 back together and running. Come to find out this reservoir is leaking around the middle seam. Don't need another overheated engine. Disappointed!!!!
