No the wheels are not adjustable.

Is the magnet continous across the bottom of the sweeper?

Yes, it is continuous. We have used several times, picks up small to larger pieces.

Does it work well on grass

As long as your lawn is level. My lawn is not but I wanted one with a strong magnet and it worked great for me .I had my roof replaced an didn't want to get a nail in my car or mower tire. I had to have the handle replaced no problem.

How much does the 18” model weigh?

I don't know the weight, it works great for nails when taking down a building
