This brittle was really good. Very buttery tasting. Always pay attention to the expiration date on the box. Once the peanuts are stale, it is terrible tasting. My grandma have me eating peanut brittle. She loved it! This was a good buy.

And it bought it for my dog. Seriously. Sweets, and especially peanut brittle, are the only treat she cares about. I could lay out in front of her any type of actual dog treat, or even human food that most dogs would love, like meat, and my odd little pit bull would have no interest in it. But she can smell a single piece of brittle from across the room and will come running. Consequently, I've been on the lookout for an inexpensive variety of peanut brittle, and not only this brand was very reasonably priced, for whatever reason my dog seems to like it even better than more expensive types I've tried. I think it might be a bit sweeter--there are fewer actual peanuts and more of the "brittle" in this Peanut Shop brand recipe, but to me, one brand of peanut brittle tastes about the same as the next, and I'm not especially partial to any of them. And yes, I know giving candy to a dog isn't very healthy, but I only occasionally let her have a small amount. It's a treat, and she doesn't eat any other kind of treat, unless I share the last bite of some other sweet human food (that doesn't have chocolate in it) with her. I didn't know a dog could have a sweet tooth until I got her. So I can't really say if this is brittle is tasty for humans, but my dog sure does like it. And I like that it's considerably less expensive than other brands. I see regular purchases of this stuff in my future.

The real issue with my order can be broken down pretty easily - brittle was not brittle it was chewy. My guess is it just wasn't fresh. I love to order brittle around the holidays because it reminds me of my childhood. The brittle did not have enough peanuts and it had all completely melted into one large mess. There are some killer brittles on Amazon. This just isn't one of them.

I have purchased in the past. The flavor was still great but it was was all so stuck together, I am having trouble eating. I’m disappointed that it is so difficult to take apart to eat.

Similar to another reviewer I had a weird hankering for peanut brittle, so I started searching. I was very happy to support this business since they are a small business. Also similar to other reviewers I found this lacking a little in the peanut part of the equation although the brittle was yummy. i think the lack of peanuts makes the fat content of this lower (a plus) but I found myself eating the pieces with peanuts and discarding some of the others. Anyway, if you do have a peanut brittle craving, this will do the trick!

This was a gift for an older family member who grew up enjoying his mother's homemade peanut brittle, and he loved it--so that speaks well of The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg!

Not happy with the quality of yur peanut brittle. It was in little piece. Not worth the price I pay. Won't order it again
