Nice lock, works well, seems secure. Heavy but not overly so.
I wanted to upgrade my bike lock (actually, one of my bike locks - I use two U-locks in the city) to one that was thicker and - more important - has dual locking mechanisms so that two cuts would be required to remove the lock. The Sigatuna is a bit thicker, and has the dual locking mechanism (there seems to be some controversy as to whether its really 16mm or whether that is padded by the plastic coat on the steel - I don't know the answer). I thought the reviews here were encouraging so ordered it. I've been quite happy with it for the 1 month I've had it. Its a bit heavier than my other U-lock (Krypto-Lok) but definitely not "too heavy". And I suspect its much better security. The key has been easy to turn - something that was a problem with the other Master U lock I had that this replaced. I don't use the frame mounting bracket so can't comment on that - I have a rat-trap carrier and I keep it in that secured with a bungee cord. And I actually don't use the cable - and I think its generally a bad idea because all of them are easily cut. I have found that a much more convenient and secure way is to have two U locks. So I have this as my "heavy duty" lock, and a Krypto-Lok as my secondary one (and which fits through the perforations on my helmet allowing that to be securely locked to the bike). A second U lock is so much more convenient to carry than a cumbersome cable. I have the Kryptonite lock mounted to the frame, and keep the Sigatuna lock in the rat-trap carrier. It doesn't offer theft protection insurance - but that doesn't bother me. (1) My bike isn't worth that much - less than the deductible! Well, its wort a lot to me, but not money. (2) Somehow I suspect that the fine print on all those bike lock insurance plans are smarter than most bicyclists - and I rather doubt they really ever pay.

Heavy duty lock
High quality lock that does what it's supposed to do. The chain is quite heavy duty and wrapped in a plastic casing to protect the bike; because of that doesn't uncoil easily so takes a bit of effort to wind it through wheels and around the bike. But it has kept my bike safe.

Solid lock, solid purchase
This is a solid bike, and the cable is easy to manage. I probably should have gotten a bigger one, but it works well enough for my uses and the lock itself fits pretty well with the key and isn't too loose/finicky. I haven't had it long enough to know if it will be susceptible to corrosion, but I suspect that it should be fine. My issues are small: 1) the key is the traditional plastic-head/aluminum key that all locks seem to have. I'm not really sure why bike locks can't have more traditional locks or brass/steel keys (closer to my house keys) that fit on my keyring and work more smoothly (like my front door), but it is a little annoying. 2) The lock wobbles a bit in it's mounting bracket. While the bracket itself is very secure (might be the best one I've had actually), the clip on the lock is not as tight a fit with the bracket, and so it shakes a bit. Doesn't affect anything though, apart from making an annoying noise in bumpier terrain

-The cable and lock are both extremely sturdy -The lock is very easy to unlock
I recently moved into a new apartment building known for having some bikes stolen, so I decided to invest in a solid lock to deter thieves as much as possible. This one does the job, and then some. The cable is long enough to wrap through both wheels, and the lock is extremely thick and solid, so I have no qualms about leaving my bike locked up. Some pros and cons: PROS: -The cable and lock are both extremely sturdy -The lock is very easy to unlock, and there are even two keys so you have an extra if you misplace one. -The lock twists to hide the keyhole out of sight which is a nice feature -I really appreciate being able to store the lock and cable on my bike when I'm on the move instead of lugging it in a backpack CONS: -This isn't really a con, but more of an annoyance: the cable IS long enough to wrap through both wheels, but I had a little trouble doing this with the way my apartment's bike rack is set up. Again, that's more me than the cable itself and it really is plenty long. -I had a bit of trouble securing the storage bracket to my bike. It kept slipping down on the frame, but I was finally able to tighten it enough and haven't had an issue since. Really, five stars here and no complaints. Great lock for a great price.

One of the best I've ever owned.
This lock is one of the best I've ever owned. The biggest concern I had when purchasing it was my bike frame not being compatible with the mounting bracket. That concern was quickly replaced with relief once I installed it. The bracket comes with different rubber grips to use with the bracket, depending on the frame of the bike. Once the right one is used, the installation of the bracket is a breeze. The lock itself is extremely sturdy and relatively heavy, which gives comfort to how durable it is. The cable is long enough for it to wrap around the front tire to secure both the front and back tire to the frame of the bike, making it rather difficult for thieves to get away with anything. It comes with two keys, one of the which I keep in my locker at work just in case I forget the other at home. In conclusion, while the lock carries a hefty price to boot, the security it offers is second to none compared to any bike lock I've owned before. It is of very high quality, and whole heartdly justifies the price, especially if you own a bike that can be difficult to replace. I have no negatives to give and fully recommend it to anyone who is serious about protecting their cycling equipment.

Got this lock because I keep my bike outdoors and needed something to secure my bike. It's really strong and comes with an additional locking mesh to keep the bike extra secure. Comes with an attachment to attach the U-lock to your bike and take it on the go. It's great as it has a quick release which helps remove it quickly.

Good product! It does exactly what’s expected and is affordable. I just wish it had more options for different shapes to attach it to the bike and carry it around. My bike has a different frame than most, so I end up having to carry it in a bag.
