Lectron Electric Vehicle Charger Nozzle Holster Dock & J-Hook Combo for All J1772 Evs

I recently installed an Emporia Pro charger. Although it is a great charger, the cable holder it comes with is complete junk. Reviews hate it and my installer even said it would break within a month. Fortunately, I knew this and ordered this Lectron holster before the install. Strong metal hook and a heavy duty holster which is anchored to the wall with four screws. It is really easy to insert the handle into and I get a nice click when it goes in. No fear of the handle falling out.

Great charger mount. Exactly as expected. Simple to install.

This EV Charger handles the job of charging! It is simple to install (using a Nema 14-50 receptable). Although the instructions indicate using a 50A circuit, I would suggest a 60A circuit to keep breaker cool. The unit may reach temps up to 120 degrees (a temp guage is displayed on unit during active and inactive sessions) but my carport is already at 110 degrees this summer! Cord is warm to touch when active but the sturdy J-handle connector is no warmer! This unit will consume 40A when active and typically a 3 or 4 hour charge per night is all that is needed. Cord is heavy (and is about 12 feet in length). Unit and wall cord is about 4 feet in length. It is simply a charger - no wireless stuff! Unit displays what is necessary to know when active or inactive. Use your EV vehicle to control charge times and kWh needed during charge times. I use the FordPass app to control my Ford Mach-E vehicle charge rates and times but your vehicle may be different. I recommend this unit due to its appealling simplicity and sturdy design. :)

Solid metal hook with hard plastic nozzle connector. Once mounted, it works as expected.

This 2-piece item consists of a sturdy metal hanger hook and a plastic dock that fits over the top, aligning with 4 screw holes. Your connector should slide into the dock easily compared to the typical snug fit with the car inlet. For hollow walls that require the anchors, I suggest slightly larger screws. The length provided is fine, but the width did not feel very secure, as the anchor design results in some internal expansion upon full insertion of the screws. I'm not confident that bumping into the hanger won't lossen it. Otherwise, perfectly adequate.

Very easy to attach with supplied wall anchors and screws, however did use a drill to start the screws into the dry wall but it’s not necessary. The actual hook part to hold the cord is metal and it painted and I thought it was good quality. The part that holds the connector is heavy duty plastic which I was okay with. If you use the connector holder it sticks out but you can use the metal hook to hold if the connector stick out brothers you. I would recommend this item. The cost of this item is a good value.

Good solid unit

The product came in a timely fashion, the seller promptly messaged to ensure everything was fine with the shipment. Very happy with the product. Works as described, easy to install, feels very sturdy and well made!

It holds the nozzle properly and securely. But it has no place to hold the charger module which is too heave for this and slips out. Need an additional product to support the charger module.
