Got the incorrect product I order for the Ford edition 3 but received a RS edition.

Installed it on a 2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid. It was plug and play with the programming module. That I already had.

2019 F-250 Gas Standard Key with Keyless entry here. Thanks to reviews, I saw i would need the Fortin Flash link updater...so I had that right away. After a lot of head scratching, figuring and a good hour of searching the Fortin websites for info, I was ready to install. And after 1 failed attempt (I loaded the wrong options the first time), I clicked the OEM remote in the proper sequence and my truck started. The product, the online literature and support are very much targeted at professional installers. Just for a "Ford F-250 Std-Key with Keyless" there are 12 different installation guides that you have to figure out which one to use...Then that installation guide assumes you have used their products a dozen times and know what you are doing already before you even look at it. It is confusing for sure...but worth not spending $600 for a Ford OEM remote start install! I never got around to calling customer support (my next step if the 2nd attempt did not work). Will update if the thing stops working or is otherwise unsatisfactory...until then I think I'm gonna be very happy with it!

Unlike the listing states “provide your vehicle information and it will be programmed” this seller doesn’t program anything and they just cut and pasted the listing from another site. To program your vehicle you NEED the fortin updater to get it to remote start and set up to your needs. The product works well after purchasing the fortin updater to program the module. Install was pretty simple if you have some electrical abilities and can read a schematic. ‘18 F350

Not plug and play

Total install including tying up the wiring and module and programming took under 15 minutes. Super easy plug and play with straight forward programming. I have installed 2 of these on my vehicles now and would highly recommend.

Super easy install. Disconnect obd plug, add pig tail to device and reinstall obd plug and your done. 2 minutes tops. Works great. Wish I could figure out how to have the remote start turn on the heat/ac as well. But good for letting the engine warm up before jumping in truck.

The item title says it is a "Preloaded Module T-Harness Remote Start Combo Kit", but the module is NOT preloaded with firmware. It just sits there flashing all the lights, which Google informed me meant it was not flashed yet. NOT PRELOADED! I'd just return it, but Amazon sent this unit from the USA and charged me $10.75 duty. The box, the module, everything says MADE IN CANADA. Why are we paying duty for an item made here?!? Now my options are to return the item and eat that bogus duty fee, or else spend ANOTHER $62 and duty fees to buy the flashlink tool. This is straight up fraud.

The product was paired with a Fortin T-harness. Installation and programming took a half hour. Works great. Will continue to use the Fortin brand for all of my remote starter installs.

Arrived fully programmed and ready. I have the programming pick from Fortin but when I plugged it in it was already fully setup. Very convenient. I have used Fortin's products on other vehicles in the past and have had no issues. The T-harness stand alone install for my 2017 Ford truck installs in seconds and the complete install took under a half hour. Highly recommended.
