If the batter is very thin, then it does not come out seamlessly (sticks). This Tawa is good for thick batter. You cannot use wooden spatula on this tawa as dosa does not come out well. I am still rating this product high because the non-stick coating is not visible, rather it is embedded. In other products, gradually the non-stick coating goes away (into food) and such cookware emits toxic gases as well, which leads to disease like cancer . Another thing is steel spatula works well on this tawa without making any scratches.

It is little costly but worth it. Easy to fry. Easy to clean. Robust. My family members liked it even it is liked by my near and dear one whom I have gifted it.
