I ordered the largest size available and it was not big enough to get my calf in

Waaaay too small. I'm 6'2" and ordered a XXXL, It was way too small, crouded my crotch (to put is nicely), hurt my back getting into it. Had to have help getting out of it. I'm giving it to a charity auction.
