Just the job looks good and robust
Following the earlier mix up this is just what we needed

Decent quality but let down by flawed design.
A nice quality container but let down by the big recess in the lid which accommodates the (completely unnecessary) handle. This reduces the internal height of the case so my fairly normal sized christmas cake had the icing on the top squashed.

Good value for money
Exactly what I was looking for. Very secure lid which gives safety when carrying and helps to keep cakes etc very fresh.

Bad design - poor use of space
The overall size of the cake storer is very much bigger than the size of cake it accommodates.The base is raised inside the container and the lid is recessed down into the container meaning that tall cakes do not fit. My cake got squashed by the lid. Also the base has chunky carry handles on each side (in addition to the carry handle on top). I just wish I could find a simple cake storer to keep a sponge cake fresh.... I don't need to carry it further than one side of the kitchen to the other and I don't need three handles for that!Overall size of container is 40cm x 35cm x 15cm. Max internal size is 29cm diameter x 8cm tall.

Bad design
Bad design. The huge dip in the lid (under the handle) renders it useless and will effectively squash any cake you put into it if you put the lid on. Its only suitable for small, shallow cakes (no good for regular sized sandwich cakes).

Good cake container
Really pleased with product. Good size and well made .

Disappointed
I Only disappointed the clip in to place at any given time. The only way I could use it was to sellotape the clips in place. I also wasn't impressed that the base was dome shaped. If it was flatter and a bit thicker then the cake would be more likely to stay where it was put.
