I really wasn't sure.
They are expensive. And, generally, I prefer grannies. But, these... fit much better than anticipated. I... like them, the cut, the feel, the look. As well, I bought them for practical purposes.Sometimes, travel can be harsh, long, with no preferred breaks. These... carry me through difficult stretches comfortably and feeling clean. Have to do my part, and I do. But these make my part easier. Two pair can get me from anywhere to anywhere, with a bathroom... or even just running water... and a place to dry one pair... daily if possibly, but every other day... sometimes worse... is doable.I did not waste my money. Though, too, I now go with three pair, sometimes four, just... for state of mind more than need. Luxury comes, sometimes, in very small packages.

Wonderful undies for working out
These are a bit more full coverage than my usual undies, but I wear them to the gym when I am taking a class or on my strength days. They cover my full cheeks without riding or moving. They come up a little high in the waist but it isn't a problem as most of my gym tights have a higher waist as well. The are durable and washable and come in great colors. For the TMI part of the review- they do not get clammy or gross when they become damp (like cotton does), which makes them ideal for exercise. I have done only a few runs in these, as I usually just wear running shorts sans undies. When I did run in them, they performed great. They are not particularly 'sexy' undies unless your partner thinks athletic wear counts as lingerie. They do leave a bit of a visible panty line, but they are full coverage enough that the line is right below my butt cheek, and thus the visible line in minimized. I find that 'cheekier' undies have the line across my cheek (rather than under it) and the line is much more obvious.I own two pairs and they both fit the same. I am 5'3", weigh 104lbs, and wear an XS in pants/shorts. I have had 3 kids and have more hip than I used to. My hips are 34" and my waist is 26" and the XS in these undies fits like they were made for me.

Dries overnight, even in the rainforest!
Bought these for a trip to Peru. I spent a few days in the jungle where it was so humid that the dry wool socks I hung in my room overnight were damp by morning...but the exofficio undies I washed and hung were dry! At least as dry as anything could be in such humidity and no breeze. To compare, I washed a pair of normal undies (cotton blend?) the same night and they did not dry for 3 days! These weren't the most flattering fit on me, but I would definitely take them for travel and camping. They were really easy to wash in the shower or sink the night before, and most importantly, actually dried in a short amount of time. I imagine if you had them outside in the breeze or sun, they would probably be dry within the hour. Just remember to roll them up in a towel after washing to get more extra moisture out before hanging them up.

Dries quickly good for travel. Same size is variable.
Black color seems to run smaller than beige. 4 stars because of variance in sizing. Stretchy and size small comes up high on a petite frame. Washes well and dries in a couple of hours so they’re great for extended travel or hiking. Tend to shift at the end of the day with regular pants but not with tight yoga or exercise pants/ shorts.

Really Comfortable Men's Briefs
I'm a man and have no interest in wearing women's underwear just for the sake of it because there are so many options available for men now that did not exist a few years ago. However, I thought I'd give these briefs a try since the concept of super fast drying underwear sounded like a great idea. I really dislike boxers and boxer-briefs in general - why do I want all that material down there?!? Might be ok for some, but not for me. So, I thought I'd give these briefs a try vs. the other ExOfficio men's boxers. They are very comfortable and, because they are not at all "sexy" in the traditional sense (as many other reviews have noted), they are well suited for men to wear. I got the black Medium size and they are spot on given that I normally wear men's Medium. The key to their comfort is 1) having plenty of room up front so nothing gets squashed, 2) having strong elastic around the legs to hold things in that is also not binding and 3) the comfort of the soft waffle-weave material which really does wick moisture away and does seem to keep odors down. The waffle weave pattern is kind of cool too - gives them a utilitarian look.

Great travel underwear! 🩲
I was nervous about figuring out what size to get, but I got it right on the first try! I typically wear a size 7/8 in the Fruit of the Loom breathable underwear and a 0/1 in Torrid’s underwear. I bought the XL in ExOfficio and they are absolutely perfect! I’m a size 14/16 in pants, weigh 209 lbs, and am 5’8”. These underwear have good stretch, don’t have a constricting waistband, don’t feel like they’ll slide down on me during the day, aren’t baggy, and the leg holes aren’t too tight. I’m very pleased! Wish they were available in more colors.

Comfortable and cool
These underwear are so great, especially for outdoor activities. I sweat a lot and these are super breathable and do not stick. When hiking I will wash these in a sink or creek. The dry very fast. They have moved to the every day wear drawer.TMI, I have some that are about 3 years old. I machine wash and dry them 90% of the time and they are in perfect condition.
