Several similar kits are marketed with varying numbers of parts and tools. This kit includes all the specialist tools with a metal press for pushing out bracelet link pins although you could use the plastic block to hold the bracelet and the pin punch and small hammer. The pliers can be used to pull it the rest of the way out. There is a small bag of spring pins for straps and bracelets in various lengths with a very useful tool to help retract strap spring pins. It all seems very workmanlike and functions well. You could spend more than the price of this kit in one visit to a watch repairer not to mention the travelling time and wait whilst they do the job. All you need is a good light and a magnifying glass with a little patience to carry out all the repairs, adjustments and battery replacements you wish.

Good range of tools that are easy to use. The plastic components are less sturdy, but should survive my infrequent use.On the plus side I have been able to adjust the strap on z new watch and am repairing an old watch.

I HAD A TOTAL OF 6 WATCHES TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES, SO THIS PRODUCT HAS ALREADY COVERED ITSELF IN ITS COST JUST FOR THIS ALONE. AS ALWAYS NEEDED 2 CERTAIN BATTERIES, EVEN WITH COUPLE OF PACKS ORDERED, SO JUST WAITING ON THESE TO DO. THE LARGER ADJUSTABLE CASE OPENER IS BRILLIANT TO REMOVE THE BACK PLATE WITHOUT SCRATCHING THE CASE. I HAVE ALSO REMOVED THREE LINK FROM MY PARTNERS WATCH, IT IS A BIT FIDDLY FOR ME AS HAVE LARGE FINGERS BUT GREAT TOOLS TO DO THIS, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND, AND CONSIDER THIS VERY GOOD VALUE, BECAUSE ONE OF MY WATCHES WOULD HAVE BEEN £30.00 JUST FOR THE BATTERY. When buying this take caution, the case opener tool i received came with inserts designed to fit it, for me to find that only two do so, therefore rendering it unuseful, and for the rather large looking case priser with yellow handle, which i paid for, i received a scalpel looking tool which although i was assured upon research it wouldnt be sharp, upon removing it from the kit immediately it sliced deep into my finger due to a non-filed edge leaving sharp metals. no doubt a factory production error. The rest of the tools are useful but id still suggest spending a bit more £ for better quality of build overall.

The product is excellent value and quality.It’s only problem is that it is good for adjusting the size of a watch strap and opening the back of a watch to facilitate changing a battery.However it is almost impossible to replace the backing plate without a further purchase of a small press.I have now ordered a press at a a cost of £9.Not a huge amount of money but a complete pain. Watch is open and yet to try putting back together. Hoping all will be OK.I wish this would have been made clear when ordering.

I am so happy with this kit. It was incredibly easy to use, and I managed to fit a new battery on my son’s expensive watch in minutes without damaging it. I had never used any of these tools before, but the handy guide inside tells you all you need to know. I’ll never need to take a watch to a jewellers again!There are so many bits in this kit, it really is everything you need for watch repairs and maintenance.

Quick delivery and the tools did the job...maybe not the best quality tools, but at this price, and given I only need them once in a while good enough.

I'm not a watch repairer; but do occasionally change a battery or a strap or whatever; so this kit does me fine. It has far more tools in it that I know how to use; but the tools I do use are proper ones, and the whole kit is reasonable enough that I feel it was money well spent.
