No! Like just about everything, they are made in China. I think they are made well and are very comfortable.

I have vinyl plank flooring and it can be slick even with bare feet. I bought these slippers and they have excellent traction. I now have solid footing indoors and out on my porch.

Should a size 8.5 size up to a 9?

Yes, I am a 9.5. I ordered the 9-10 and they are too small. I should have ordered up.
