UnikaColorFill Worktop Joint Sealer Compound Laminate Repair, Colorfill: CF025 – Cloudy Haze

I ordered Green Slate but I got Black, I didn't use the product right away. I knew I needed it for a repair but that was for the end of the project, tidying up some damages to an already fitted kitchen worktop. When I have bought this product from the kitchen supply shop it comes in a box that states the colour and it also comes with a bottle of solvent. This item just came in the tube packaged in a bubble wrap bag. The clue should have perhaps been the cap on the tube as that was black. I don't buy these regularly enough to confirm that the tube cap denotes the colour.It's too little money to return and black is always useful as a filler for other jobs.

Product itself is good , used previously for repairing chips in laminate floor . This product however is only the tube itself, from previous sellers I received the product in a packet with acetone cleaner and a small plastic tool that is used for smoothing the repairs .... I assumed it would come with this as I paid the same price .

This was a replacement for the same product left with us by our kitchen fitter a few years ago. It is a really good colour match and easy to use. We used it to fill joints that had started to open slightly after getting wet time and time again. It is extremely difficult to see where it was used - a great result.

Was well reviewed so I bought it.Personally I hate the stuff. Goes very hard- so cracks after a while, and then allows water into the joint.I much preferred their unika colourSealant which stays more flexible

We had a very small hole in our kitchen worktop made by dropping a heavy sharp object on it ( no one admits to doing it), I needed something to fill the hole and protect the worktop. This seems to have done the job very well and was easy to apply. The colour was an excellent match, and the hole can hardly be seen at all.Very pleased

Unfortunately I had to open this product to realise it was ineffective. I had bought the same product years before to mend scratches and chips in laminate flooring and it worked on that occasion. This time it peeled off the mend usually in one complete piece. I thought it may have been a dodgy batch but the other tube in a different colour did the same thing - very disappointed

The filler is easy to use.You must prepare correctly and ensure no grease etc.The repair is virtually invisible when done
