CCSI300 Steam Iron with 7.4 Ounce Water Tank, 1200 Watts, Comfort Grip,Red

Just got this iron and tried it out. A lot of people wrote that it is small. I don't think so. It's bigger than the iron I had before which was a WS1750, also a Westinghouse which lasted for approximately 10 years but started dripping, so needed to be replaced. When I got this iron today I ironed a pair of jeans shorts with a roll-up on the legs, so triple amount of jeans to iron. It did a great job and was easy to handle. I also like that it has 2 steam settings. My old one had steam on or off. The cord is nice and long. The water tank holds quite a bit some water.When I first plugged it in, it did not get hot and my first thought was that it is broken. After reading in the booklet I found out that it was set on 'min' and had to be on a higher setting in order to get hot. The knob is harder to turn than on my old iron but this was not a problem, even for myself who has arthritis.

Iron and steams very well, no complaints, does an amazing job

Works good for the price. Shuts off Frequently and has to reheat a lot while using for long periods of time, which I use it all day long for work so it’s time consuming to wait for it to reheat but other then that it is pretty good.

Absolutely love my new iron! I have no complaints about any portion of it. I am 75, have been ironing since I was 8 years old and have had a lot of experience with many, many irons. This one is not too heavy for someone with severe arthritis, it does the job well - even great with my sewing (pressing open seams, etc.) and working on adding iron-on decorations!

I am giving it 5 stars based on my expectations for the type of iron it is, as advertised. It is exactly what I expected, as my last iron was this exact same thing. It does the job, it may not have all the bells and whistles that some of the much more expensive irons have, but has proven to be very dependable. I can see the water level, adjust the steam, use the spray button, get the point of the sole plate into small areas around buttons. The sole plate glides nicely and the iron is not heavy, which is what I was looking for. If you are looking for a dependable iron for everyday clothing I would recommend this.

This steam iron works wonderful and has several added features, a very good price, and it does not leak water. Read the manual, it has some good tips. It is the best iron I have ever owned.
