Solid wood but expensive than others

Bought this to use in my Instant pot It reaches to the bottom of the pot and the sides. Well made.

Outstanding quality. I love the oxo range but do feel it’s a little overpriced for what is essentially just a fancy wooden spoon.

Quite thick so not good for scooping out homemade pizza from the tray or dividing it up, otherwise looks very strong.

I just received this Saute Paddle yesterday. I haven't used it or washed it yet. I will update this review once I have used this product for a while. This saute paddle overall length is 12 inches long. The paddle itself is 4 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide. It is made out of one solid piece of beech wood. It has a natural oil finish. It is safe for non-stick cookware. It has a hole for hanging at the end of the handle. Hand wash only. My first impression of this saute paddle is that the natural oil finish is stunning. The one-piece beech wood is beautifully carved with no defects. It is very smooth. It is solid but not heavy. I have always had either heavy plastic/acrylic like or silicone saute paddles. I am excited to use this. I hope it lasts. I will let you know.

First off, right out the packaging I could tell it was much more solid than the one I was retiring. Opening it up and taking it out, the weight was perfect for the size of it. The tip had the best angle that scrapes the whole pot. Well worth the money. Interested to see how long this one will last. The one I’m retiring lasted 6months until it got weak in the middle and broke.

All around great wooden tool for cooking. We’ve already gotten a second one.

I bought this to make pastry cream. The recipe said to use a wooden spoon, though I am sure a silicone utensil would have been OK. This is a sturdy paddle and it worked well. Just keep in mind that it is thicker than other wooden spatulas, so if you have a smaller saucepan you might have trouble covering all areas. I used a 4 quart with deep sides and it was OK. Hand wash only.
