Took a few tries to get positioned properly, plus a hard push downward on the buckle but now works and does exactly what I needed.

This one is for all the caretakers of kids who are autistic and nonverbal. First of all- solidarity! Just want to send love to you as you are trying to manage all of the challenges that come with raising our angels. Two- our angels are clever! My son was clever enough to figure out how to unbuckle all of the different car seats we tried. Once he was tall enough for a cross over seat belt, we knew that unbuckling himself would be an issue mid-journey. After looking at MANY different solutions, we found this and it has been exactly what we needed. He stays buckled and he loves to be in charge of unbuckling himself when the journey is finished. It does slip around when you are trying to buckle it in sometimes- but for all of the solutions it provides- this is a small inconvenience. Stay strong caretakers! You can do this

PS cinch the seat belt tight, I have seen the little ones wiggle loose without unbuckling!

Was bigger than expected not for my 2017 Chevy suburban buckles. Fits loose over the buckle but still works. If it fit better I wouldn't have to worry about losing it.

Need another one because it works. My son is unable to unbuckle out of the car when in motion. This provides safety for him and peace of mind for me. It is a little lose fit on my 2019 toyota sienna however it does not mess with the functionality of this device.

There is NOTHING to dislike about this product. My 10yo has DS and 4ft six and 74 lbs to big for booster seats. So had to just let him sit in the regular van seat. Well first year went fine, then he realized he could push a little button and be free!!! Lol So every time I put the van in park, here we go! I thought I was going to loose my ever loving mind!!! Tried to do grocery pick up, oh heck no he says I am out of here... I literally cried!! So after about six months of this ( yes I am a glutton for punishment) I said enough of this bs!! So my search began. When I found this I thought it was to good to be true! You know what it is inexpensive, easy to use, and the little turkey can not undo it!!! So now he just reaches over and undoes his 7 year old brother's selt belt!!! Hahahaha which is another story. If you have had enough of your kids shenanigans, then THIS is the product you have been looking for. Remember inexpensive, very simple to use, and your child will not be able to escape. I bought this for my dog as he always steps on the buckle in the car and unbuckles himself. I found these but was disappointed. The cover doesn't stay over the buckle but rather slides up, exposing the buckle, preventing it from being protected/unbuckled. This may work for a car seat that is fixed in place but it surely didn't work for my dog. I will have to try to play around with it to see if add a notch or something to the seat belt portion but overall, didn't accomplish the job so sadly, I rated it as 1 star. I was hoping this would come in handy for my child as well but I can't imagine they won't be able to slide it up with just their hand. Update: I had found a silicone one on Amazon. It stayed in place. Recommend that route for dogs. My biggest concern would be them chewing it but it was under a car dog canopy so they couldn't move it or see it.

Does not fit any of my vehicles seatbelts, too big, so it’s a great concept if they would fit. 2017 GMC Yukon, 2025 Toyota Tacoma, 2020 Toyota Camry, and 1996 Chevy Tahoe. Going to try and find a silicone sleeve that hopefully will fit the seatbelt and then these will hopefully fit snug and stay on then.

I have standard seatbelts, but the slots are too narrow for the buckle to click in. Useless.

This item is difficult to use. The seatbelt buckle does not snap in easily. The item moves as you’re trying to buckle with an active child in the car seat.
