Update:I'm upgrading the stars on this because they have actually been good dish rags. They are thick, they absorb well and have held up well. They do stain a little (hey, they are white), but they wash really well and aren't getting torn up or frayed. I think they absorb better now that they have been used/washed/reused.Original Review:I was looking for white dish rags to wipe the counter and wash dishes. These had good reviews so I tried them. The good news is the price for getting a dozen cloths, but when they arrived, they looked more like napkins than dish cloths. They are a nice soft cotton and look nice, however the material is too “refined” to be used to wipe counters or clean dishes. They don’t absorb as well as normal dish cloths, and they are easily stained. I washed them with bleach and the stains from veggies didn’t come out.I think these are best used to be tiny napkins (cocktail napkins maybe), but these are not dish rags!

I had been searching for smaller-sized flour sack cloths when I found these and incorrectly assumed they would be a thin, gauzy cotton. My mistake. These are pretty hefty napkins. If you want something very lightweight that will take up very little laundry basket space, these aren’t it. I wanted them for individual hand towels in the bathroom and will be looking at cloth handkerchiefs instead. These might be kept in the kitchen as dinner napkins. They are durable, dense, slightly stiff cotton with a very firm hem.

Soft and dry well. The edges fold back after washing. That is why I took off one star.

I LOVE these towels! My old towels were wearing thin and I was pleasantly surprised when I received these promptly(I received within 2 days) and the packaging was beautiful. Instead of boring towels, they came wrapped in a bow. The quality is amazing and do exactly what I need while looking great too! Plus, they are priced accordingly and worth it.

These are not even close to being white! If the color matters to you, don't but them! My kitchen is WHITE so these will not do. I'm the pictures, they are shown as bright white. What I got was tan.

We bought these in an effort to save money by not buying paper towels. They are a great replacement and the perfect size. They could even pass for formal napkins.

Good cloths but I don’t like them for dishes. They just don’t feel like 100% cotton. They are very nice cloths but just don’t satisfy me for the reason I purchased

First, I was impressed by their packaging. All of them were nicely folded in a box. When I first saw the box, I couldn't figure out what I ordered. They are perfect size for my daily use in the kitchen. Fabric feels very durable and quality is amazing for the price.
