High Performance Laptop
This is a GREAT laptop. It is very fast due to its Ryzen 5 processor which is as good as Intel's i5. The keypad is better than most - better than the macbook pro's for sure. It also includes a fingerprint scanner which is super fast. The battery life is very good; I personally get about 8 hours. I know that most people were complaining about it as I read the reviews before buying it, but it's good. You have an option to hide the camera which I like as I rarely even use it. The only thing I don't love is that it has 8 GB of ram and AMD takes about 2 for the graphics I think. This is not a big deal. Most people don't even notice it. If you are someone who uses a lot of ram than you can easily upgrade it. You can buy another 8GB ram stick and replace it with the 4 (because only 4 are accessible ). This would give you 12 total(10 to use). I also grabbed the Asurion accident protection plan for $50 as I found out the hard way with my last hp laptop that if you drop it or spill something on it, you're done. You don't really need the protection plan if you're super careful but it doesn't cost that much and they're highly rated. The laptop also came with a stylist that works fine; not as smooth as my hp pen but I think that's due to the display begin brand new. I also love the 360 tablet mode although the speakers are not the best. Again this is not a major drawback since I rarely even use the speaker as I always have headphones on when watching videos. One thing I forgot to mention is that the charger is super fast. It charges my entire laptop to 100% in less than 90 min. I would recommend this to everyone especially at this price point.

Well-balanced, quality school laptop
I bought this to replace my aging laptop for school work. I have a custom desktop I use for gaming, so I just needed something that was very portable for school with a 1080p screen and good battery life. This has been everything I hoped it would be. Light, fast, and a surprisingly good touchscreen and pen that wasn't a selling point for me but which I now use frequently for scrolling through e-textbooks or working out homework problems. Lenovo really built a fantastic laptop.Pros:-Feels solid and durable, not hard, brittle plastic like a lot of budget laptops-1080p touchscreen and pen are both excellent-Backlit keyboard-Battery life easily gets me through a school day and several hours of homework-The Ryzen 5 CPU is genuinely fast and more than enough for multitasking, and the integrated GPU is faster than Intel's offering in the i5 version.-Relatively easy bottom panel removal for RAM or storage upgrades-Fingerprint reader is a nice feature-Has all the basic ports most people need: USB, HDMI, and SD card reader. Even has a USB-C port.-Feels very quick to boot and load programs with the SSD-360 degree screen tilt lets you adjust it to any angle you want or go into tablet modeCons:-Maximum screen brightness is not all that bright, but it's typically not a problem for indoor use. The screen also has a glossy finish instead of matte, which I prefer for its anti-reflective properties.-The pen comes with a holder that slides into one of the USB ports, but actually using it to hold the pen blocks both USB ports on the right side of the computer, leaving you with only a USB-C port on the other side-No number pad, though that would have been difficult to squeeze into a 14-inch chassis

Overall good laptop
I really like most things about this unit- the trackpad works well, the keyboard is great, the pen is pretty good, runs older games well and is fast for everyday use.My main complaint is the battery life is no where near 8 hours, maybe 4 1/2 to 5, the battery does charge quickly though, but the actual battery life is pretty low, that is why I only gave it a 4. And the fact it uses an sd instead of micro sd card.... the card sticks out the side, why not micro????? bad design.Other than that I am overall happy with this purchase, the 2 in 1 is well made and works great.
