Very thick, quality material with padded bra inserts, which is important at this age. I bought it for my 15 year old, which I should have known better, since she has a very long torso. It didn't fit her, but it fit my 14 year old niece, so it was a win! The fit is nice, very full coverage in the areas that matter to you when you are the parent of a young girl these days. The color is a lovely navy with a subtle pattern. My niece claims it is extremely comfortable and stays in place during swimming and other water play activities. We have washed it several times, and it looks just like new! I would recommend. My niece is 5' and 90-95 lbs. Only thing that would make this suit better is adjustable shoulder straps.
