These AOSU cameras are awesome! They’re super reliable, charge really quick and are easy to install. The app is also easy to use/ navigate. The cameras have awesome features like a speaker for talking, sirens, night vision and a bright spotlight. The customer service was also very helpful! I was helped by Lynette and she helped fix a problem with one of my mounting brackets. Overall they are awesome cameras with very attentive customer support. Definitely have recommended to family and friends this product!

My husband and I bought these camera to monitor around our home. We didn't want to pay a subscription, but wanted to be able to save the surveillance footage. These cameras did that for us. The app is easy to download on your phone and setting up the cameras is simple. While there is an option to purchase a subscription, you don't have to. The footage saves to the home base for a while and you can download any video you want to keep, which comes in handy. We love that the cameras are solar powered, but for those cameras that need installed where they won't get any sun exposure, they supply a charging cord to charge them, and the cameras pop off their mounts easily to be able to take them in to charge them. We've only had 2 issues with the cameras: one of our cameras batteries wouldn't hold a charge after 7 months of use. I contacted the support team, and Lynette was able to help me out. She and IT were able to run an upgrade to the home base which solved our problem, as the cameras is now holding a charge again. Our other issue is there is a delay between when the camera senses motion and when it starts recording, so it can miss events sometimes. Otherwise, we've been very pleased with our cameras. They've done what we needed them to and they are affordable. The picture is good and the color quality is excellent. These have met our needs and have given us peace of mind knowing we have home security and can easily access any video we may need. I definitely recommend these cameras for those who want an affordable, subscription free option for home surveillance.

I would give a 5-star rating if wouldn’t be for one particular feature: the build-in solar panels for the model I bought. I have used the system for more than a month now and here below is my feedback. 1. The App- very good and easy to use. 2. Central unit/modem – very good, good signal on all sides of the house. I was a bit concerned with the coverage since my house has brick all the way around and is not small. So far I am satisfied. Do not block the unit with other larger objects. You might need to move the unit in few places and check the signal received from the cameras , once they are in their final location. 3. The cameras (I have 4) are good quality, image is very good and all described functions working as expected. Rotating head works very well, end to end. I was concerned about the outdoor temperature since I live up North. I’ve tested them until -10 degree Celsius and have not noticed any service degradation. 4. Build-in solar panels: in my opinion the panels are sub-dimensioned for the camera consumption. They are not directional (with my camera model) and when you combine that with the installation location, you probably will not have a perfect angle. The top priority is to install the cameras in the best possible position for monitoring and that does not necessary allows the best sun exposure. In my case, only the South side of the house provides excellent light exposure. For the other 3 sides, the built-in panels cannot keep up with consumption and needs the additional, adjustable, solar panels to help. Maybe in places like Nevada, Arizona, Texas, etc. you have more luck but is not my case. I recommend buying the model with larger, angle adjustable solar panels. 5. Technical Support: I'll give them a 5-star on this, very responsive and helpful. I initially had some installation problems and later the solar panels issue described above. They were supportive from day one and wanted me to have the best experience possible. I was dealing with the agent called Lynette but I guess any other one would be provide the same excellent service level. So, on summary, is a very good product but do not try to save some bucks on the solar panels if you are not located in the sunny South. They have many models, the bigger the solar panel + directional adjustable, the better for you and less problems.

I purchased this set June of 2024 and up until a few weeks ago, the cameras were flawless. I noticed the front camera started having charging issues and I used the Aosu App to contact customer service. Within a few hours I received an email requesting more info on the matter and before I knew it, Aosu had sent me a back up solar panel to help the charging (lack there of). Once I received and realized the panel wouldn't help, Aosu then sent me a brand new replacement camera to resolve the issue. Cameras track 24/7 and function rain, shine and snow. Coldest being 17 degrees outside and no issues with cameras. The app runs smooth, allowing me to view and control any and all cameras at any point in time with sharp images in black/white and color. Cameras were easy to mount and the "Mothership" sits in the office and reaches the cameras mounted on the garage. Huge range with zero interruptions. Everything connects via wifi and never needs to turn off, rest, even when updating. Amazing customer service with no subscription, I am amazed at how quickly this issue was resolved, I did not look forward to having one of the cameras out of operation. Over all down time was less than a week. Just Amazing. I look forward to adding more cameras to the system, in the near future.

I've had these for a year and 4 months now. I wanted to wait a year to review them, but went a bit over. These are really good cameras. We've had record rainfall, a tornado and record high temps since I installed them and they are all working perfectly. I installed the free (available upon request) external solar panels on some of them and they stay at 100% charge. I'm not going to try telling you these cameras are perfect, but they really are great, for the following reasons. 1) Wireless range. I have the base unit in a cabinet under my TV with several other bases and a wireless gateway. In theory, this should dramatically cut down the distance that I can install the cameras from said base. I have 2 of the cameras over 100' from the base, one hidden behind a metal shed, and they work fine. In bad weather I occasionally get a message on the one behind the shed that its signal is weak, but it still works fine. 2) Appearance. These are good looking cameras. They have blue lights that come on when they sense movement, which lets people know they're being watched. If the color night vision is enabled, they have very bright LEDs that light the area up nicely when it's dark out. 3) Function. I get near instant notifications on my phone when someone is approaching, although the 'human detection' could use some work. Still, I'd rather get excess notifications when deer walk though the gate than wonder if it's always catching trespassers, so I'm OK with that. 4) Battery life. I used the 4 cameras in my kit with the built-in solar panels until the (upon request) external ones were delivered. (order them after delivery using the instructions in the box) and all 4 cameras stayed close to 100% charge, even the ones that didn't have direct sunlight. I now have 3 of them on external panels and they always show 100%. The other camera is on the sunny side of the house and it doesn't need one. 5) The app. It's easy to use and actually works! (love when that happens). I added an Aosu doorbell (highly recommended) later on and it popped right up in the app beside the cameras. I can download videos to my phone with one touch and view recorded footage with no subscription. 6) Footage quality. I can read license plates (see below), tell who's coming from a distance and see color video even at night. They are great cameras. Not perfect. Sometimes, if a car is driving too quickly, the license plate is blurred, but I work in security with cameras that cost over $3,000 each and they do the same thing... The bad. 1) When automatically following someone / thing, the PTZ motion is jerky, not smooth. It'll move a lot, stop, then move a lot again. It's fine, the subject stays in frame, but it's not a smooth movement. Also, in the fall, I had to reduce the sensitivity of 2 cameras as blowing leaves were triggering them. 2) The notifications. There may be a way to change this, I'm old and haven't tried hard enough, but there are a lot of notifications when someone comes in the yard. At least one from each camera, usually 2 (coming and going), plus another blanket notification when the event is all over, to make sure you're aware that the other eight notifications were noticed. Again, I'd rather have too many than not enough - nobody is coming onto the property unnoticed. 3) Adding cameras. I bought the 4 camera kit and would have to buy another kit and have another base station to add more cameras. I knew this going in, so I can't complain. It would be nice if there was more expansion capability in the base unit, though. That's it. Buy these and a doorbell and know everything that's going on outside, all the time.
