A beautiful item, well made, lovely design, but sadly wouldn’t hold all of my partners ashes, even though it was advertised as large, so I was disappointed. Unable to return or exchange as had a brass plate added to it.

My Mother recently passed and had a water cremation (Resomation) which leaves more ashes than a regular cremation. We needed a large urn that could contain the entire ashes that didn't look like something morbid or drab. It is sturdy and the slide out bottom is secured with a single screw. It is carefully packaged in bubble wrap and arrived undamaged all the way from India after just a few days. Price-wise it is unbeatable and looks far superior to urns you see for sale that are 10 times the cost. This urn was perfect in every way. The price was excellent and delivery was very fast. I know our mother would simply love the look and finish of this carved wooden box, or "jewelry box" as I sometimes call it, that contains the most precious jewel of all to us.

I purchased the urn wooden box as I have planned a natural burial of my ashes when the time comes As I have purchased my plot I decided to get urn and put with my will etc. The box is beautifully made, lovely colour and finish, It is made of rose wood lovely engraving and polished. Isn't flimsy good weight, and easy access for ashes to be placed and then sealed. I ordered on Aug 21st 2025 despite bank holiday weekend I received the box today Aug 27th 2025 all the way from India. Thank you so much!.

Beautiful intricate engraved urn. Good quality wood. Big enough for ashes of a small woman. Subtle screw underneath the box to secure ashes. Good value.

Good product with nice design. Doesn't hold the quantity of ashes it states though, probably half of what is quoted. Small chip on bottom corner but overall a nice product

For us, this purchase (2 cremation urns) was a matter of planning ahead. This summer we are working hard to make changes to our Funeral File, a binder with easy-to-follow final instructions for a Surviving Spouse and for the daughter who will finally serve as executor. One section of the Funeral File covers last wishes, the how-to for burial arrangements, and the location of the two Hind Handicrafts urns, which are for now stored in a bin in the basement. As to the urn itself, we couldn't be happier. We admire the hand-carving and the craftsmanship. We like the choice of rosewood, which is hard, durable, and beautifully grained. We like the fact that the wood is native to Uttar Pradesh (a sentimental favorite because of our daughter-in-law), where the urns were constructed. We like the glossy finish and the fact that our two urns are slightly different in color. We love the design of the urn. The fact that the sliding panel (held shut with a screw) is on the bottom means that right-side-up the beautifully carved urns are classy. We note that the urns were carefully packaged and arrived in good condition. Finally, we are pleased at the excellent value. (Compare the cost of a casket ($800-$10,000). As responsible parents and grandparents, we seek to avoid extra cost to ourselves and any later cost to our three children. Finding these perfect urns has helped with that.

I purchased this urn last summer to hold my mom's ashes after she passed away suddenly last June (2021). I was very happy with the level of craftmanship for the price, especially considering the funeral home wanted to charge hundreds for even their most basic, low quality urn. This urn is very sturdy and the carvings are simple, yet elegant. I think it's a great option for someone that doesn't have a lot of income but still wants to honor their loved one with a beautiful resting place. I highly recommend.

This is a lovely box to hold my uncle's ashes in. He was a collector of wooden boxes large and small and he would have loved this one. This was the second one I ordered as the first came from another seller and I was not happy with the craftsmanship and it wouldn't unscrew from the bottom. But I'm very happy with this company..kudos to you!!
