Gets the job done
Protects me while stick welding in the overhead position. Even if there’s spatter falling all over my arm these sleeves allow it to just skid off instead of melting into my shirt and burning me. Pretty comfortable, however I am a pretty skinny guy with spaghetti arms so I could use a little bit of a tighter elastic on the top by my shoulder but you get what you get for $10. There are great high quality welding sleeves for the money, you barely notice that you’re wearing them because they’re so lightweight. I have burnt a few holes in them but they are still extremely durable, if you’re positioned bad the arc will tell you lol.

Great fit, packaged nicely and actually works.
Absolutely worth the money. I like to wear one on my left arm as that gets the most fatter when I weld and it's still holding up great 3 months later. Made out of solid material is definitely fireproof and quality.

Awesome sleeves
Great comfortable sturdy fabric. Worked well with the welder and didn't burn through once. Not too thick so they're comfortable ro wear and can bend arms easily. Would highly recommend.

As most said.....
So just opened them straight from the mail threw them on went to welding recieved 6/13/20 2:32 p.m al time zone. They seem alright fairly well made. As most said if you have big arms these are not for you. I barely got them past my forearms and had to force them up my bi&tricepts then flex hard to pop a couple threads so they fit nicely. They will probably prematurely fail because of my big arms but hey they work. Super light good for light duty welding like tig and short arc mig. Ive seen some reviews state burn through. They are fire retardant not fire proof fyi. If you want them to last longer get some spray startch like used for ironing clothes with, hang them up and spray them down fairly heavy and let dry. The startch is good for light coating long sleeved cotton shirts used for welding as well. It makes the weld bbs roll off without burn through. Anyways, ive never owned a pair of these before or even a pair of tig mig gloves etc. Ive always dealt with the burns due to being broke during my late teen years of welding. These are super nice though i suggest using for light welding as stated before though and grabbing a revco (bsx) welding jacket for heavier type welding. These are great for hobbiest not so much for full timers that weld for a living other than light duty. Im sure at some point some snatch straps cut down will be needed before long to hold the sleeves up on my arms but overal wont be money wasted. This is my own opinions and thoughts others may differ. Some protection from the uv rays of welding is better than none though.

Great Protection For Your Forearms When Welding
Just getting into welding, but one thing I knew not to skimp on was protective equipment. I mean, we are talking about high voltage and molten metal here. After finally getting some Argon/CO2 mix gas, I got to lay down some beads and these sleeves did great. Never had anything burn through and I knew that sparks were getting kicked up onto them. I trust these sleeves and will get another set whenever these need replacing, but I expect that to be much later down the road. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I'm happy with sleeves
I purchased these to protect my forearms when I am working with the industrial hotplate at work. They shield my forearms from the heat and also protect my forearms if I inadvertently brush up against the hotplatr surface.

Cheap uncomfortable backup FR sleeves
for both hobbyist & pro alike comfort in your PPE is very important , I know every welder has a backup cheapo pair like this... that’s exactly what it is BACKUP and cheap and definitely for wearing over long sleeve shirt... I tried wearing these in 100°+ heat / poorly ventilated area for a job and it made my day hell... Uncomfortable while welding and I pulled them off after to have a pool of sweat come out of my wrists ... it somehow Traps metal shavings right where it scrunches on to the upper in-side of your arm on your armpit With wet soft vulnerable skin ...Better than smelly old heavy leathers? You decide ... the best in my opinion is the SuperiorGlove Canadian brand welding sleeves.. got a dozen of those (which feel / act similar to under armor compression sleeves ) to stock my PPE shelf and never looked back. Yeah these are flame resistant but I used them for a week and they are noticeably uncomfortable and very tight on XL / XXL arms.

Work great
These are much better than putting on a heavy welding jacket. I'm really bad about wearing a Tshirt welding and then dealing with the burns. These save my arms.
