Works great when cut shaving

This is a great product. It didn't cause a lot of pain, just a little sting. It dried fast and was also easy to use. That makes it very functional.

My dad gave me a styptic stick when i started shaving 40 years ago, I finally got that stick to 1/2 way down recently and decided to get another one. Wow this one is huge, 4x the size of my original stick in size/weight. I think this one is heirloom size/quality, it is so big I think it may be passed down to my great great grandson and he might not be able to get through using it in his lifetime. Impressed with the size and quality of it. Stops the bleed from the cuts effectively. Thick and durable too.

Bought for shaving

My husband told me I should get one of these pencils. I wish I knew about them sooner! They really do stop bleeding quickly. The pencil will last you forever. Just don’t be like me and drop it, it will break into multiple pieces.

works as well as the old toilet paper method. personally i use quality shave soap so i won't get nicks very often and have thick blood that clots really well. it's nice to have on hand for those couple times a year i need it. i have sensitive skin and these do not bother it at all. it doesn't have any smell at all and isn't powdery so you don't have to worry about inhaling it(dog might sniff it) side note is it just me or does it kinda look like lipstick?
