Hello, My daughter is 6 years and about 4" tall, weighs about 36 pounds. Will this be suitable or should I consider an 18" bike for her?

I would consider the 18 inch bike for her. My daughter is 5 1/2, she's tall for her age and getting close to 50 pounds. The 16 inch bike is starting to look small for her.

I would say no less than around 3 feet. The seat, at its lowest position, is around 20-21 inches, so check your kiddos inseam. My daughter started riding it when she was just shy of 40 inches (she's around 42-43 inches now) and it fit and fits her perfectly. It truly is a sturdy, fantastic little bike. Well worth the dollars spent.

What is the maximum height that fits this bike ok?

I'm not sure how to answer your question. I can tell you that my daughter is 44" tall and just growing into this bike. The seat is barely above the very lowest seat height adjustment, so I think she's good for another year or so. I hope that helped, I'm not sure what you're looking for.
