Really nice figure. Good detail. A little smaller than I would have liked considering the size of the animal but it is the only one available from the big brands. Delivery came a day earlier than it was supposed to so overall very very happy

Just as with the ambeladon only make I could find, didn't need to worry, on par with Schleich and papo. Little man was very impressed with his megaferium!!

Outstanding.
Amazingly detailed and so lifelike. The washes and dry brushing of colour with the durable paint and plastic itself are well worth every penny.

I've always like any figures I get from Safari and this one is no exception. I can imagine it having bad breath, and not being easy prey with those long claws and erect, bulky posture. I bought this one for my own adult collection, however it looks very sturdy, and has no moving parts, nor anything that could break off, and too big to really choke on, so it should stand up well to even vigorous play with young children. It would hurt if thrown or stepped on however. There are so many wonderfully made, ACCURATE and sturdy animal figures for children today which could literally last a lifetime if kept away from long term sun exposure, or flames and the like. This is one of them.

Our 3 year old loves prehistoric mammals, and the megatherium is one of his favorites. I'm so happy we found this toy and he was able to add it to his "collection." Obscure prehistoric mammal toys like this one are pretty hard to come by since they're not that popular with most children, so I really appreciated being able to find and purchase this so easily. It's a sturdy little figurine, much like his Schleich toys, and perfect for smaller hands to play with. Has good detail. It was a little more expensive than a lot of his other animal figurines, but worth it since, like I said earlier, these are hard to find. I imagine he will enjoy this toy for years to come.
